A trip to Mountain View is always a good idea, especially on a hot Hilo day. This coffee lives up to the hype. We enjoyed the sniff stations! I recommend the Kona med-light pour over and the drinking chocolate, with a toasted marshmallow of course! Get this coffee black, don't mess around with that milk junk.

Amazing we have such a top notch cafe in little Mountain View! And perfect location right next to the bakery. Usually I don’t drink pour overs, but this place may have convinced me I need to start! Staff and owner are so wholesome and genuine, good company and great at explaining any questions or even the process of making the coffee or tea. Rustic but quaint seating inside snd out. This place is a hug in cafe form ?Parking: Don’t be worried if your car pokes out into the street. That is normal, it’s an old Hawaiian road.Kid-friendliness: There is a community center attached to the cafe which is sometimes open, if you’d like to visit it, call before!

This is definitely an experience if you are a coffee "aficionado". It is a great experience where you can smell the different coffee beans and pick the one you want brewed! All the beans used are from the big island so it's great to support the local farmers. The coffee and the tasting chocolate were great!

A beautiful place to warm your soul. Not only is the coffee super fragrant and the shop goes out of their way to encourage you to experience the beans. Truly a lovely place to spend an afternoon, where the apple crumble is beautiful and incredibly delicious, Nikki is kind and hospitable, I got kisses from the sweet Iolani (maybe?), and enjoyed a fantastic conversation with chef Justine Ma!

I went to this store early yesterday morning, but I didn’t meet the Taiwanese owner. I was a little disappointed Today I ordered morning glory and Mocha. Mocha is very special. It has a spicy taste. However, the clerk did not tell me that I need to stir it to drink it . Halfway through the drink, I heard the clerk telling another group of customers to stir it, and I suddenly realized it You can smell the different coffee beans and choose the one you like. The clerk did not introduce coffee knowledge as mentioned on the Internet. However, he told you that there are donuts nearby and you can buy them and eat them. So, we I went to buy donuts, but I didn’t see the pour coffee performance, which was a pity The store decoration is very warm.

We had the pour over black coffee and the hot chocolate w/ a toasted marshmallow. The environment is cute and welcoming, with an old-timey vibe. The service was wonderful, and it was the best coffee and chocolate I’ve had in forever! (Especially for the hot cocoa, no milk needed. Creamy, delicious and spicy!)There’s a cute, outdoor, covered garden where we enjoyed our beverages and donuts from next-door, as an added bonus! Could not be more stoked!!

My favorite coffee shop anywhere, Brian does a mean pour over coffee with your choice of several different types of coffee. He is conscientious and will explain the process if you’d like. Inside is a warm, welcoming atmosphere. I feel blessed to have a great place to go with friends and family for coffee, just a few miles from home. I noticed he is serving apple pie slices and can’t wait to try my next time there.

Excellent coffee. Because it is pour over only don’t expect it to be quick and no espresso drinks but expect it to be excellent coffee wit friendly service
Amazing pour over! They offered me a sample of a carbonated cold brew that they are developing and it was the best coffee drink I have ever tasted! I wish I could drink it

Such a personalized experience. I told the barista my preferences and he made recommendations. We smelled all of the different roasts and then picked. I went with a light fermented roast. He made us a sample of the drinking chocolate to try(I highly recommend, it was sweet with a slight “bite” afterwards from the pepper and ginger). All of the staff was very friendly and helpful.
