Amazing pies and cakes. I wish I could live in here to come every morning! Very good products. Only stone cookies are not my thing because my teeth are not that strong

I love this place for several reasons, the mochi doughnuts are my favorite morning ritual that always starts my day right especially on those rainy mornings.

The taro donuts are super delicious, the lychee donuts are fragrant but too sweet, and the biscuits are just okay.
Such a gem of a bakery. Had the strawberry guava roll and omg it was the best roll I have ever tasted! Mahalo!
Great place.

The food is absolutely delicious! BUT when I was trying to order the food the worker was so rude to me. She kept asking who was next and I kept telling her I was and she pretended like she didn't see me til I was rude right back. I'm from Puna and I don't put up with rudeness very well. Also their parking sucks. The last time I went to this bakery was when I was a kid and now I see why. Show Respect to your customers.

Home of the stone cookie, a known Hawaiian treat. They so have delicious mochi donuts, all made fresh on location

We went there for the mochi donuts and they were great! Great spot right before Volcano. However, I will say that their strawberry flavor tasted more like bubblegum, but that's alright!

Fantastic mochi donuts, definitely a nice treat. I would recommend the taro or churro flavor, the mango and watermelon flavors have an artificial taste.

I was really hesitant to leave a review.... why.....
Because it's already hard enough to get these doughnuts, and if I tell you how amazing this place is.....I'm really not sure there will be any left for me! Haaaaa....but seriously!
They may somewhat look like a regular doughnut, but let me tell you.....they are very, very far from it.
The mochi texture, the flavor.....I mean I sometimes dream about these doughnuts!
My favorite is the watermelon.....if you get lucky enough to try one....you will NEVER eat anyone else's mochi doughnuts! I actually promise you this....
So try not to tell too many people....and leave some for Lali.....oh... and don't get there too late because they will sell out!
I dare you to try one!

**Get here early if you want croissants. They tend to sell out around 9-10am**
A must visit if coming to Big Island or Hilo. We drove here all the way from Kona twice during our 1 week stay.
Our fav is the original taro mochi donut. All the other mochi donut flavors, though good, tend to be too sweet for our Asian taste. The donuts have such a pleasant mochi chewy texture and are very dense! If you have an air fryer, toast them for a bit and they get all hot and crispy—delicious!
We also love the pastrami croissants.
