We had the musubi, turnover and 4 flavors of the mochi donuts, SO SO GOOD! If you are a fan of baked goods (or donuts) this is a must-stop. We grabbed coffee next door too!
Unfortunately when I arrived they only had churro and taro donuts left. I took one of each. They were absolutely delicious. I’m definitely getting there earlier next time so I can try whatever else they might have. This is the first time I went there for something other than their cookies, which are good if you like a biscotti type cookie. I like to dunk them in my coffee. You can sit outside and eat, and it’s small but charming.

Have lived here part time on Island for about 8 years now and have always passed by the bakery. A couple of months ago, I decided to stop in and try some treats. I had never had a mochi doughnut but the Taro Mochi Doughnuts were to die for. Been off island for two months, and all I thought about were those doughnuts! So now we are back and plan to visit often on each of our trips by into Hilo. You have to stop by here if in the area or driving up to see the volcano.

A hidden gem of a bakery near the Volcano Park. We stopped for mochi donuts and musubi. Both delicious. If you're passing by, it's totally worth a stop. Just make sure you get there before they close, or earlier to ensure they don't run out of what you want.

We enjoyed ourselves at the bakery today. I grew up in this area, so this bakery is very well known. Coming back here after 10 years, the food only got better. Highly recommend trying the mochi donuts or butter rolls. The butter horns are also very soft and delicious. Always great service here and the employees are very friendly. Support small local businesses, so this is great!

Great pit stop while on the South point of the Big Island. It's a bit touristy, but the bread is great!1. They have sandwiches and danish too.
