Even on a rainy day, this was a really fun and special place to stop and get a delicious, well made hotdog. Enjoyed the laid back vibe and many options/flexibility of the owner to customize food. Baked potato was also perfect.

Best hot dogs we have ever had. We tried one of each, and made it like 10 min before closing. Our son fed the chickens while waited for our hotdogs and got a flower at the end. Must have hot dogs.

Stopped in for a late lunch on the way to Volcano NP and had a great lunch here. The dogs were big, cooked to order, and very tasty. The buns are locally made and the toppings plentiful. We had both the jumbo beef dogs and the Portuguese sausage. It’s beautifully situated next to a pick your own flower garden, including orchids. There were also fresh eggs.
Vegetarian options: They had a veggie dog/patty and a baked potato.
Kid-friendliness: What can I say. Kids love hot dogs. They also had YooHoo.

The Portuguese sausage, all beef, and hot links were delicious. The chili tasted homemade. Portion sizes were super generous. I have never seen a hot dog made with as much love as these! The owners are super folksy genuine people. If I were a local, I’d eat here all the time!
