After reading a bad trip advisor review we were sceptical of this place. We had been on a massive road trip to black sand beach and volcano and this was our best option on the drive back. It was an hour til closing so we were concerned it might be shut but it was open. When we walked in it felt like everyone looked at us because we weren't local but the guy waiting the tables was really welcoming, made us feel relaxed and was so friendly. We love Kai Loki’s! Great atmosphere, friendly people and friendly good service! Kai Loki’s is a great place to have a pupu, a meal and a cocktail! Plus you can view and purchase beautiful LOCAL Art and on certain days listen to fun, lively, live music! What a gem! We were returning from the volcano, looking for a good restaurant & stumbled across Kai Loki’s. Great food, reasonable prices, affable waitstaff & overall good experience.
