“Some of the best Thai food I've ever had. Super fresh ingredients and very personalized service. Ordered the drunken noodle, glass noodle, Tom Kai soup, red curry, pineapple fried rice, and fresh guava juice. The guava juice was sweeter than I expected, not sure if the guava here is just naturally insanely, sweet, or they added some sweetener to it. Other than that, every dish was amazing. Everything is made from scratch and made to order so expect to wait around 30 to 45 minutes for your food. They have a variety of drinks as well as lilikoi cheesecake for dessert (even though I didn't try it). Would highly recommend stopping here for a meal if you are on the southern part of the big island.”

“A bright mini mall coffee house. The Ka'u Coffee is sold here from Cassablanca Farms. The barista was polite and had a welcoming smile. The coffee is worth every penny, with a clean flavor, and depth of taste. We did take out too and ordered BLT's to go and it was made properly with designer twisted bamboo sticks holding sandwich together. The local bacon had a great flavor. A plus was the mini Arts & Crafts section that was complete with fabric purses, some indigenous wood working, jewelry and paintings. There is plenty of seating with a cool breeze flowing.”

“Across from Ace Hardware, Ocean View Pizza is a gem, specializing in meatball subs, chicken humdingers, and pizzas. The kids loved the meat pizza. The meatball subs come on a toasted hoagie roll with plenty of red sauce, cheese and flavorful meat balls. The Humdinger was breaded, baked chicken with tomatoes, lettuce, onions and special sauce on a hamburger bun. They sell single slices of pizza, and have a variety of water, soda and fruit juices. A small take out corner space with nice people and friendly smiles.”

Although the place is busy so the service is fast-paced...the cooks and cashiers get the food out quickly.and do a good job! Also you can call orders in and they have it ready and waiting for you.Vegetarian options: There is only a vegetarian burger but I get brown rice and combine it with thei salad and mixed vegetables.”
