We had a very memorable experience at Aumakua. Ames was our kavatender and she did a phenomenal job and explaining the history of kava and its deeply rooted traditions. I’ve been to several kava bars and I would easily come back to this place in a heartbeat. Highly recommend paying a visit here.
Kai, our bartender, was fantastic—super knowledgeable about Kava and the cocktails. I tried the Cat 5, Mermaids Dream and the Zombie, and all were excellent. I had such a great time here!
Fairly new to Kava but feel like an expert after
hanging out with Kai! Really wanted to try Hawaii Kava and found it a very different experience from Fiji and Vanuatu. Great experience!
