Very dirty. Restrooms are disgusting. Tables were dirty. I saw employees washing the dishes just with the water, no soap. Don’t go there. I ate Acai Bowl, it was good, but because of the dirtiness I didn’t enjoy at all!

In my initial private email, I raised my concerns clearly and there was no acknowledgment of a possible issue, no indication of changes to their practices, and certainly no accountability—let alone a refund of any amount. Unfortunately, it is just not possible for me to pinpoint the exact ingredient that caused illness. I understand that mistakes can happen and I hope that the owner matter is taken seriously, as it appears this is not the first time such an issue has been reported.*****
My family and I ate at Belle Surf Café during our trip, and unfortunately we became ill shortly afterward with food poisoning. Based on the timing and what we ate, one possible explanation could have been the eggs, which may not have been cooked thoroughly for our meal or spoiled milk.
When I reached out to the café, I received a response that essentially denied responsibility because “no employees or anyone else got sick.” While I understand that illness while traveling can sometimes come from different sources, I had hoped for a more understanding and customer-centric reply especially since food safety is such a fundamental expectation and the timing of the symptoms suggests clear cause.
I hope this feedback encourages greater accountability.

I came to eat at the restaurant yesterday and ordered two Açaí bowls. Both of them were really bland and the taste of the açaí was nonexistent – it felt like they were watered down.
In addition, we also ordered a matcha and a chai latte, which were served with a very grainy texture, probably due to poor mixing.
I was not satisfied. You can find better in nearby stores.

Great ambiance and bites ! Their warmed banana bread with butter is heavenly. I’m also obsessed with their pink la marzocco. This is the type of place I totally would hang out at for a couple hours working. It’s a little obscured since it is behind the swim shop.

Belle Surf Cafe is so beautiful! We came here a few times during our stay in Paia and loved the food and coffee. Shout out to Nacho for his excellent customer service and super friendly vibe. Definitely made our experience more memorable! Highly recommend this place.

Have dietary restrictions. Messed up order twice. Leaving very frustrated and feeling like I wasted my money.
Fantastic spot to catch up with friends, do some work or just to get away from the tourist crowds. Coffee and espresso selections are tasty and strong. I love the dessert crepes and their espresso martini for a late afternoon or early evening break. The decor makes you feel relaxed.

The place looks good , but the vegan food wasn't that great! The smoothie bowl was horrible it tasted like pudding, however the avocado toasted was a little better but not great. I need it some flavor something more tasteful, it was to basic of a taste. I don't recommend to get neither of those !
