Sar in the restaurant for 20 min before getting up and asking a server to order food. Received my dates beer and waited another 20 minutes to ask if I would be getting the cappuccino and burger I had ordered. When the food arrived, it was undercooked. Every employee made me feel, not welcome and not appreciated.

A must visit in Paia. Fantastic atmosphere for morning coffee, brunch, happy hour, or a nice night out. They use high quality ingredients and you can tell its a labour of love here. Tried their coffee (12/10), Mahi sandwhich, and classic breakfast - all fantastic. The staff was so kind and friendly with great service.

We had a lovely evening, and loved our pasta! Absolutely stunning restaurant with great vibes. Would definitely recommend getting pasta AND the truffle fries, the portions were normal and prices reasonable.

Tuesday visit in Paia. Early lunch; sweet potato bowl was fresh, healthy and delicious! Bright, beautiful, relaxing room. Great service and enjoyed talking with the owner who is a local. Only breakfast in town btw. Arugula salad could not have been more fresh. Delicious!

We stopped at **Cafe Mambo** while exploring Paia, and it was one of those classic Maui breakfast spots that just feels right.
One of the coolest parts is the **location** — you’re literally just around the corner from the water, and it’s fun watching the **surfers heading in and out** while you’re waiting for your food. It gives the place a laid-back, local vibe that fits Paia perfectly.
The **breakfast was excellent**. The **pancakes** were fluffy and filling, and the **eggs were clearly fresh**, cooked exactly how you want them. Simple food done really well. But the real standout for me was the **orange juice** — hands down some of the **best OJ I’ve had anywhere**. Fresh, bright, and not overly sweet.
Great food, cool atmosphere, and a perfect stop if you’re in Paia and want a relaxed breakfast with a true island feel. Definitely worth checking out.

Very cute atmosphere. I thought the food was just a bit overpriced for what it was. The breakfast sandwich was a little disappointing but the chicken sandwich was really good.

We had an awesome dinner! We started with truffle fries, tomato salad, and kanpachi crudo. The fries were perfect: crisp outside and tender inside. The dressing and pistachio cheese in the tomato salad were delectable. The Kanpachi crudo was refreshing. We ordered pasta and mahi for entrees which were excellent. And finished the night with a chocolate chip cookie with a vanilla flavored milk which was a hit
Ordered a nearly $20 salad that was so overdressed it was practically lettuce soup. Mind you was literally only lettuce and shallots which seems to be quite lack luster in reflection of the cost. Took one bite and told the waitress whose incompetence was truly incredible. It was left on my check for me to pay for despite not eating it, taking it home nor getting a replacement. Wouldn’t recommend

10/10 for me. Cafe mambo is one of my most favorite places to have dinner. Really good atmosphere and the menu is very satisfying. We had the beet salad, broccolini, half chicken, venison bolognese, burrata with sourdough, and tomato salad. I enjoyed everything so much. I will be back!
