Warning! Menu has changed. Did not know that until sat down. Both salads had non veggie items, so asked for salad with veggies from both but no fruit or nuts. Chef would not allow. Wound up getting side salad of arugula and side of chicken. OK, but disappointing. Price of what i got $12 less than if they had allowed sub. No diet sodas. Bathroom was very nice. Can be very noisy, but guests enjoyed.One review question was if i had Duck Burger. Haha! That is what my husband wanted, but no longer on menu.Dietary restrictions: No substitutions, so look out if you have dietary restrictions. You may wind up with very plain meal.

We had breakfast today, 4/10/24, at the new ownership and newly reimagined Café Mambo in Paia. The lemon ricotta pancakes with berry compote and a drizzle of sweet rosemary syrup blew the roof off. My husband’s breakfast burrito was just as spectacular. I hate posting this because I don’t want to fight crowds to get in like at Mama’s, but they really earned this shout out

UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT: revamped menu is delicious!Cafe Mambo had gone downhill for years, but it's gotten a total overhaul and now it's great! Perfect for Paia. It's only open for breakfast and lunch for now, with plans to expand to dinner in the future

Love the new make over! Food was amazing. I got the breakfast burrito, the in-house hot jelly was the best I’ve ever had. Coffee was ok, my daughter got a breakfast plate and really enjoyed her meal as well.Our server was super chill, I would def come back. New owners did awesome
An absolutely delightful brunch location. The updated modern decor adds a really nice touch, and the food was excellent. Very friendly, quick, and professional staff. We will absolutely be back!

What a fantastic café, the food was excellent. The atmosphere was outstanding, and it felt like being at home. Our family loved the owners (the owner's mom too) and the staff, their heart and passion for what they are doing showed through and the food was absolutely delicious. If you’re in Maui, this is a must-stop!!! Favorites for our family were the Smashburger, arugula salad with salmon, and the amazing fresh squeezed orange juice and coffees!!
