This place is a hidden gem. Their indian food is better than many restaurants in India. I ordered mixed vegetable curry and it was finger licking good. It came with complimentary chutney of choice. Highly recommended.

Terrible first & only experience. I ordered the vegetable curry, and what I got was minestrone soup with some Indian spices added. We ordered at 7:30 and our food finally came out around 8:30. The waiter had terrible customer service. We had to flag him down for a water refill during our hour long wait and we got no explanation of what was going on with our food. After receiving the check, we asked what the issue was and he said “oh ya, we only had 1 chef tonight… and there was group of 15 or 16 that was in front of you”. We told him that he should have told us, because we would have left immediately if we had known that was the situation. They could have not sat so many people, or simply given them the courtesy of letting them know the situation. This was my first time here, and will also be my last.

Pretty disappointed here. 90 mins eating lunch at this place is too long. We were told the table wait was 15 mins but the host said we could ask the bar area of the same restaurant if we could sit there. Felt odd we had to ask and that the bar and restaurant sitting areas don’t communicate. Even the couple waiting before us went back and forth between the bar and restaurant sitting to get a table. We did get sitting immediately at the bar which was good. We did however had to go up to the bar to initiate our order. Our food took about an hour. My plate also came 10 to 15 mins before my wife and mom’s plates as well. We also had to go up to the bar to ask for more water. Felt the service didn’t check up on us or gave us a timely update on when our food will be done. An 1 hour wait and the food not delivered at the same time is poor kitchen performance. Also we saw bar staff folding napkins and counting the registered while we were still waiting on food. I understand if there was only one cook but maybe letting us know that information or training the bar staff to help out with the kitchen would be a good idea. I rarely leave negative reviews but I feel like service here would be an easy fix seeing there are plenty of bar staff and restaurant isn’t too big. Overall if you sit at the bar I feel you get ignored. A courteous check in at our table or updates on when our food will be ready is all I expected. Food was decent but maybe a little too much cumin. A man did apologize AFTER we starting to leaving about the long wait….This place could be a good bar rescue episode but not due to quality or cleanliness but due to service improvement. Help them John Tapper.

decent happy hour
The servers are really friendly but It took us 1:20 hours to get two savory crepes to go 🥲 it tasted good but not worth the time, just be aware it may take long

Love this spot in Paia!
The shrimp curry with mango chutney is my favorite—so good, just the right mix of spicy and sweet. I also always get a sweet crepe for dessert.
Chill vibe, great food, sat next to Willie Nelson and his band, nice folks. Always a good stop when I’m in town.

1st time in Maui. Went to Paia to shop and us 4 had lunch here. Ordered a spinach and feta, and a mozzarella w/ tomato and pesto. Both were absolutely delicious! The service and garden dining atmosphere was great. Can’t wait to come back again before we leave, worth the drive from Kihei.

Very lovely experience. Owner is very sweet and friendly too!
Good was amazing and very soothing. Many vegetarian options.
We loved the Curry bowl with Butternut Squash, Garbanzo Beans and spinach in coconut milk. The strawberry crepe was big every crispy but nicely made.

Ordered the spinach feta for the millionth time and for some reason it’s tasted like crap today. Salty and weird consistency I would have sent it back if I hadn’t ordered it to go. I called them back to ask if they used a different cheese and they said it’s made daily…well today it was disgusting
