One might ask - why eat pizza when you're in Hawaii and so many restaurants offer a wide range of seafood items. Well - the answer is Flatbread Company's pizzas are delicious, the vibe is casual and fun, and the staff are great! They have more traditional pizzas updated with local ingredients. All the pizzas have a thin crust, which is really delish. And you can watch your pizza being cooked in the fire oven because it's right in the dining area. And even though...
It was amazing to be there. The staff is plenty and very friendly and we had a short waiting time. The cook is making the flatbread from scratch and roast them on open fire. You can see both the kitchen and the oven where they prepare your food. Plenty of vegetarian options and glutenfree flatbread is available. Best flatbread we had.
What a great experience! The pepperoni and mushroom pizza hit the spit for the home feel, and the Smokey Orchard pizza was a standout for flavor and texture. My wife had the gluten-free Mopsy's Kalya Pie, and it was very flavorful. I had a piece and couldn't tell it was a gluten-free crust.
The drinks were top-notch, and the environment was relaxing. Kea, our waitress, was friendly and on top of our order and drink refills.
