Love it!
Inconspicuous from the outside, it's only inside that you realize how big the store is! Large selection, including warm dishes available at the buffet. Great shop!

Fresh produce is why I go to Mana.
Parking: Street parking is limited, but my karma has been providing a space on recent visits.

Take out breakfast and lunch before road to Hana.Great hot food bar with a lot of vegetarian and vegan options. Pocket friendly.Croissants were great. Their freshly made veggie burger was delicious. Breakfast burrito and the filo pastry was great. Convenient for breakfast and better to pick up lunch if headed to Hana.

We had two different acai bowls and a gluten free cupcake. All were amazing! The natural food store and hot food bar also looked great. Very large for the small town of Paia. Lots of vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options. But also high quality meats.
Dietary restrictions: Lots of gluten free
Kid-friendliness: So many options, any kid will find what they want.

They have many delicious vegan options in their hot bar, plus bulk bins and lots of grocery items important for vegan cooking (even 2-lb blocks of tofu!). We went there 4-5 times during our week-long stay on Maui.
We stopped in here looking for a few things and were amazed by all the gluten free options- it was amazing to see equal options of gluten free and normal noodles, crackers, cookies, etc. A very happy place for 2 celiac customers.
Excellent food and

Really enjoyed the selection here. Fresh local bread, good prices on staples like cereal/granola, bulk grains, etc. Lots of options for chocolate, and a clearance bin in the back right of the store.

Many, many interesting selections with nice folks to help you choose from some unique offerings in a casual and comfortable environment.
This store is a big of vegan heaven, if you are after all the specialty products. So many choccies, chips, cheeses etc that are a lot of fun for a travelling Aussie

Mana Foods is a huge grocery store with options for all diets. We are vegan and easily selected our lunch from the many different options, both hot and cold. We found one prepared sandwich we liked and asked the deli person if he could make us another one. He gladly obliged. We have returned again and again to Mana Foods whenever we are on Maui. We always recommend stopping at Mana Foods to friends who are making the trek to Hana.
While visiting Maui recently, my husband and I stopped in at Mana food to pick up a few things. The first thing I noticed was that particular smell you can only experience in a really good organic market- maybe a combination of fresh foods, teas and herbs? That smell takes me back to the 70s in San Francisco- lovely! Anyway, I bought a loaf of their vegan gluten free bread, and it was amazing! It smells and tastes great, and has the best mouth feel of any GF bread I have ever eaten; and I've been gluten free for many years now. Aloha and mahalo from San Diego.
