This is a very busy fast casual seafood restaurant. We waited 15 minutes to place our order and much much less to get our food. I got the blackened snapper and it was fresh and tasty. My family enjoyed the Cajun mahi mahi, fish and chips ahi. It was warm and humid in the dining room, the tables are communal.

I had Mahi Mahi sautéed. Best meal I had during my Maui trip. 5 stars! 🌟 I hope to try the charbroiled option next time. (But the line is usually long.. just one downside about this amazing place)

We started with fried calamari and followed with a cajun Ono with fries, blackened Ono with cajun rice, sautéed Mahi Mahi with fries, and the chicken tacos with fries.
The calamari was delicious, however, we’re from the northeast coast of the mainland and are used to larger portions of fried calamari so don’t expected traditional rings of fried calamari. These are more like strips. don’t get me wrong I would definitely order it again it was amazing.
The two Ono dishes had some good flavor however they were a bit dry. The Cajun style was definitely better than the blackened. It was our first time having Ono so maybe it was the firmer texture that we didn’t like as much as the mahi mahi which was amazing.
We weren’t a fan of the Cajun rice either it didn’t have the texture like other rice we’ve have on the island.
Overall a pleasant experience, we just won’t go out of our way to drive an hour to go there like we did this time since we stayed at Ka’anapali.

Fish and chips, their hamburgers are awesome.
I love sitting there after work even though it gets busy and a bit noisy,it’s not that bad as their food is always keeps you busy.
It’s a great place also for lunch with chicken spaghetti, one of the best that doesn’t cost too much.

Paia Fish Market was easily one of our absolute favorite meals in Maui!! The fish was delicious in every preparation, the beer was local and cold and the atmosphere was the perfect small market vibe. We LOVED the food and will definitely come back. We couldn’t leave without their Paia “Magic Sauce” and a hoodie! Highly recommend!

This is one case where the hype lives up to the reality. Delicious fresh seafood, served hot and fresh. We had the blackened Mahi, blackened Snapper, mahi tacos and mahi burger. Everything and I mean everything down to the chunky coleslaw was delish. Definitely worth a visit or two.
