I'm surprised by the negative reviews. I've been eating here often since I moved nearby. The portions are big—$10 for a mini chicken BBQ plate is a great deal. Friendly staff and usually fast service. I recommend it!

Ate here last Saturday, June 22, 2024 . Got SICK IMMEDIATELY! It was either the beef lumpia, the chicken katsu sauce, lemon sauce or fried shrimp. I've been sick for about 10 days. Filed a complaint with the health department. Severely dehydrated. Haven't had a solid BM in 10 days. Missed a day and a half of work. Not worth the gamble. EAT HERE WITH CAUTION!!!! I recommend eating at home or somewhere else instead.

My husband and I have been coming here the last 3 years. We always get the special combos. They switch up the combos so we've been able to try most of the menu. They have big portions

We bought loco Moco and there was hair in it. Called because we were home already told them would not be able to come back the next day. They advise only way to show proof was to bring the plate back. It was completely disgusting and was not going to hold the plate over night. Unacceptable. Will not be going back there.

Combo plate honey chicken was okay. Pork Adobo was awful. So salted that you couldn’t tell what it was supposed to be.
I love the service and the food. The service is a lot better than the L&L I go to by Starbucks at Pearl City. The ladies are a lot nicer than the lady over there

I had the saimin with shrimp. There was absolutely no taste for the broth and the garnish was yuk lettuce and the shrimp was hard with no flavor. 1st and last time for me.

I ate atL & G Local Food at Pearl City Highlands, safe to say I Will be back.The portions are hearty but more importantly the food was delicious ?I had Pork Adobe and chicken katsu comboI'm picky about pork Adobe, this pork Adobo was so tender, well flavored and really good.Chicken Katsu was on point.Plenty of leftovers for a 2nd meal
