Love L&G ! Located in the Pearl Highlands food court. They serve breakfast all day, local plates and even some Filipino dishes like adobo and lumpia. Super nice people and Ono food.

QUESTIONABLE PRACTICES AND MEDIOCRE FOODS REASON: My recent visit to this establishment for a drink to accompany my meal turned out to be quite disappointing due to pricing confusion and service oversights. I went here a few weeks ago because I just wanted a drink with my food, and this place was one of the few and closest that weren't busy at the time. I noticed a small fountain drink priced around $1.12, only to be charged almost double during the transaction where the receipt said the original cost was around $2.50+. Despite my displeasure, I opted not to make a fuss, attributing it to potential tax or inflation. The lady at the front seemed nice and with her festive Santa hat, I didn't have the heart to make a big deal out of it so I told myself to let it go this time around, and learn from my mistake by not coming back to buy from this establishment next time. I paid the transaction in card and went out to the outside table to eat. As I was eating, I noticed that the drink seemed larger than what I expected of a small to be. Who knows, i normally don't get a lot of sodas so maybe it was just the good ol' American size of a small. During this time, a man who was sitting near the restaurant inside the food court came out and passed by me. When he saw me, he told me that I left my card back in the restaurant. Thank goodness that he was kind enough to remember me and let me know. I rushed back to retrieve my card and because the thought about the soda still bothered me, I thought i might as well inquire about it. When I asked, the lady at the front confirmed that it was a small size for that price. Again, didn't want to make a big deal for something that's less than $5 so I nodded and walked away. I could let it go with the pricing to a degree, but what particularly irked me was the handling of the credit card situation. Granted the store was small, and they must've had limited staff eg only one stationed at the front and back. Perhaps she was unable to go out because she was stationed at the front. Despite a small store, I believe there could have been a better approach. I personally feel that if it were me, I would've asked the back worker to temporarily man the front as well in order for me to run out to chase the customer if they forgot their credit card. The workers had no contact to reach me with just the card- were they expecting to just wait and hope I realized and come back? They really need to update their pricing. It doesn't matter if they forgot to update their menu price because it's out of view from their side. It's what the customer sees and customers will get baffled from the misleading prices no matter what the cost may be. COMMENTS ON THEIR FOOD: My previous encounters with their food were also underwhelming - dishes were excessively oily as though they were drenched in oil, and a prior incident involved discovering hair in the rice. At the time, my BF told me to let it go and I did, telling myself it was just the rice and that it was a good way to avoid starch. Despite these culinary hiccups, I would rate the foods 1 1/2 AT BEST, If I'm being generous. In summary, the establishment's pricing confusion and service oversights, coupled with average food quality, make it a less appealing choice. I can't help but to think perhaps this is why this establishment is usually a lot less busier than the other restaurants around the area. Most definitely WILL NOT BE COMING HERE AGAIN.

This is a local plate lunch stall inside the highland market food court. I had the bbq chicken plate. The chicken is cooked perfectly with the right amount of sauce. Their mac salad is very on point. Good cheap eat.

We bought loco Moco and there was hair in it. Called because we were home already told them would not be able to come back the next day. They advise only way to show proof was to bring the plate back. It was completely disgusting and was not going to hold the plate over night. Unacceptable. Will not be going back there.

Combo plate honey chicken was okay. Pork Adobo was awful. So salted that you couldn’t tell what it was supposed to be.

Chicken Katsu is probably the hardest plate lunch to screw up. This place has managed to accomplish this. The chicken was dry, overcooked, bland (even with the sauce). Now sometimes places will tend to overcook chicken dishes in general, in fear of serving it undercooked. This was bad! The coating was burnt along with the overdone chicken. I'm wondering if this was day old chicken they put in the fryer again? The sauce was L & L like but bad. The macaroni salad & rice was OK. Not going to give this place a second chance.

So L & G is located in the food court above Sams club and like many others have said it's pretty accessible lots of parking.. Went here yesterday with my parents this is one of their favorite spots to go for me it's alright. My dad loves the meat jun and my mom loves garlic chicken. I've tried both of their favorites and they're ok it's not the best but definitely not the worst. My plate yesterday was the lemon chicken with fries instead of rice. The lemon sauce was good and the chicken was really really good batter super crispy and legitimately tender pieces of meat inside the fries were not the best nothing salt couldn't fix though. The service was pretty prompt we didn't wait a long time for the food it came out hot and in a good amount of time. Personally I mean if I'm in the area and craving something on the menu I'll stop in.. I know my parents will definitely continue to come here they really do like the food. At the end of the day L&G is what it is.. it's a fairly good local plate lunch spot and the prices are reasonable also in my opinion.

I love the service and the food. The service is a lot better than the L&L I go to by Starbucks at Pearl City. The ladies are a lot nicer than the lady over there

My GO TO breakfast place. Their corned beef hash is the best, crispy on the outside and not mushy in the middle. The portion size & price is amazing. Staff is always so friendly.

I think this place is great. The location is convenient in the food court at Pearl Highlands. There's tons of seating available and the service was quick. I saw meat jun on the menu and of course, had to try it. Meat was tender and tasty. Great portion size and really great value for the regular plate. The menu is extensive with so many local choices for everyone. I've had he chicken katsu in the past and it's a winner. Crispy, juicy and well worth it. You have to try this place out for yourselves. It's always been a good spot for me.

Try the Mohicho chicken. Game changer.

In an unassuming food court comes Chinese combination plates. They have quite a variety of food; they even have healthy options, substituting brown for white rice and a lettuce salad for macaroni salad. Food is tasty and portions are large.

A great place for a plate lunch. I've been coming here since Pearl Highlands opened. Love the chicken Katsu, ginger chicken. Clean place to eat. Larger portions than L&L.
