Great service always! Favorite chicken skin pupu! Glad there's always a good crowd. Friendly bartenders who treat everyone with respect.

Great place to watch games, local draft beers and the bartender Tim knows his cocktails so he can make you off menu if you know what you want!

Located within Foodland Farms. It's a nice casual place to hang out and have food and drinks. We got poke, the steak and garlic fries to share. They have a bunch of local foods to choose from their menu. The food is good but expensive. They also have a decent selection of local beers on tap to drink. When we were ready to pay for our bill, their machine which runs credit cards was down. The bartender wasn't helpful and gave us attitude about it. We didn't have enough cash and had to use the atm in store to get cash out which charges $4.50 to withdraw. We would return with different staff at another time.

Love the atmosphere and the staff are so great. Its our local watering hole. Go for the Hibiscus margarita, kitchen sink fried rice and salt and vinegar chicken skins. My only critique is I wish they had more options on items like the salad (can only get salmon, no other protein option) and the burger appears to be a premade patty instead of the amazing burgers that are in the meat case. But great idea to have it in a grocery store where purchasing power and usage or ingredients can be maximized. Plus the Foodland Farms in Pearl City is impeccable.Parking: Lots of parking available

Monday night... 6pm... and looking for a place with a good draft beer/cocktail selection and pupus. Found ourselves at Pau Hana Bar in Foodland Farms Pearl City. Surprised to see a majority of the bar seats taken. Too bad their Happy Hour is limited to 3pm-5pm daily... and no drink/food specials available while there. Unusual that the bar ran out of poke (ummm, Foodland's poke station is right there??) and the bar doesn't allow supermarket food purchases to be consumed there. They have a nice selection of local craft beer on draft... I enjoyed Beer Lab's Omakase. It went well with the Fried Chicken Skin and Spicy Garlic Fried Chicken (you can also add a side of rice to make it a meal). Staff was good, nice (Leah) and funny (Tim). Good place for Pau Hana.

I swear I wrote a review for this FOODLAND Farms market bar previously but since there's no review with my name I need to rectify this oversight. Located in Pearl City it's across the main street from Walmart smack dab in the middle of the market and behind the poke bar. You'd think being directly behind the poke bar you'd be able to pick some up and enjoy it at the bar while enjoying an ice cold brew, many of which are offered but you are limited to the menu items in the bar area. Probably the only thing I don't like about this bar. I feel deprived when I think there are boiled peanuts ten feet away but I can't have them. There's blue crab poke ten feet away but I can't enjoy it while I'm having an ice cold beer at the bar....you get where I'm going with this? There are lots of food items coming out of the bar, many are pretty good, two of my favs are the garlic fries and the fried chicken skins. There is one Fresh Poke of the day on the menu which could be expanded to a variety of selections and even marked up to customers sitting in store-bar enjoying it....oh well, hopefully management will reconsider but since they've been handling it the same way since prior to Covid shut down maybe they don't think it matters.Anyway, there is a pretty diverse selection of alcohol here. The mixed cocktails are made from a recipe that any nondrinker could follow I.e., the Old Fashion. It's just not the beloved cocktail many of us drink. Their version features Hennessy which I assume can be upgraded but I wouldn't recommend it as there's no love or knowledge put into the crafting of this cocktail. I asked the bartender if she'd ever watched this drink being made in a high end steakhouse and her response was that she wasn't much of a drinker of hard alcohol and that she just follows the house recipe. It shows in the finished product. However they do make a Yuzu Ume Whiskey Sour that was quite good, kinda sorta a Whiskey Sour just a unique version. It was fun ending our drinking "session" with a Limoncello shot over ice. I recommend this neighborhood bar for all the right reasons: plenty of parking, nice people, clean and well maintained. They can get busy at times but are well staffed to keep the flow of drinks and food moving...kinda weird though for your bartender to ask you if you want dessert after four hours of imbibing and just before last call!

Who would've thought to come to a bar in the middle of a grocery store? If you're in need of good drinks, friendly staff and good bar food, this is the place for you. This really is a bar type atmosphere as there are not regular type tables. There is a rectangular bar and the staff stands inside the bar to serve you. Food is cooked in the back somewhere.I ordered the mule (not on the menu) and it was delish. We also ordered the elote brussels sprouts (good but something was missing), fried noodles (really good), kalbi chicken (this was a miss) and the calamari karaage (good).I would go back again. They no longer take reservations, it's walk in only. Make sure to wear warm clothes, bring a jacket or blanket or something.... it's freezing cold in there!Ample free parking in the Foodland Farms parking lot.

Had a great time watching the NBA playoffs while sipping a few beers. HH beer of the day was $5 and was ONO! Beer Lab sour and Mary suggested a Li Hing Mui rimmed glass, that sounded interesting and also like possibly the perfect combo for a sour beer and it was!! I ended up getting 2 and then later wanted to try the other beer lab offering which was called Omakase and was a hazy ipa. It was excellent as well.No outside food. HH everyday, but you may want to call to confirm hours in case they change. There are also game day specials on drinks and food. There were a lot of people there to watch Warriors/Lakers, so that made it more fun, but solid spot to grab a high quality craft or local beer during HH either way. This bar is located in the middle of the FoodLand, in case you get confused.Grab some poke to go on the way home!

This bar is inside the Foodland Farms. Super friendly bartenders and Mary recommended the sour beer with li hing mui rim for only $5 during happy hours 3-5. Didn't feel rushed to leave since we were there to watch the NBA playoffs. They had happy hour foods too but didn't partake.
