Maybe it was just me but my whole chicken was totally burnt….! Everyone else seemed to get yummy ones…. I don’t know if I should try again or not because I am afraid that I will get the same burnt one.

The Hulu chicken isn't that great and the service sucks-Parking especially. I went there to grab 2 whole Chickens and he had the nerve to yell at me for parking at the park. He said next time don’t park there park before the gate. I didn’t want to block anyone, it also says no parking, and it is congested. I suggested that may be he should put up signs that say “park here”. I should have left and saved my money, but I didn’t. That will be the last time I go there. Good luck to whom ever goes there. The area is a mess and he is not so nice!

I went today for the first time and it wasn't good. The chicken was BURNT and dry. I wasn't even greeted and when I said hank you, I didn't get a response. I am NOT recommending this place at all. Not going back.
Always delicious. When I come to Oahu to visit my mom, we always grab 1 or even 2 whole chicken to eat with rice and salad when we get to her home. First tried in 2020, then 2021. Been a while and now fast fwd to 2024, still the same quality and tastiness!

I visited Hawaii for work last week and one of the things I really wanted to try was Huli huli chicken. I did a search and this food truck came up. The chicken was sooo good I went back two days in a row. The price was the cheapest food I had my entire trip. The chicken was seasoned to the bones. I don’t normally like chicken breast because it can be dry but not this. I was chewing up the bones and everything. I highly recommend.

Might be the best chicken I've ever had. Tender, juicy, flavorful but not over-seasoned, not too greasy. 7$ for a half chicken and 9 for a plate is a seriously good deal, both in terms of quality and quantity. Come here!
