The Galley is very clean. Great atmosphere. The food is great. Eggs made to order. Fresh cut fruit daily as well as the salad bar is fresh as well. Great healthy drink choices. Always worth a visit.
This is one of the better cow halls or DFACs (dining facilities) I have eaten at; Army, Navy, and Air Force. The hours of operation for meals are narrow, but the food is satisfying (tasty and filling). You can even bring your family members, just need their ID cards, and pay for them (you get a lot of good food for just a few dollars). I eat here when in uniform or on vacation; breakfast, lunch, dinner. And you can take it to go, if you want.
A window into what navy personnel eat when they are deployed. Great service, good food, well equipped dining areas and unbeatable price. Not always open to civilians or military dependents.
