Nanea Restaurant and Bar

Enjoyed lunch here with friends. Nice atmosphere and service. In the resort and pool level. Variety of meal options, something for everyone.

Anyone who gives this place less than 4.0 ratings is insane. It’s convenient, the staff is so friendly and the food great! Most time share properties don’t have restaurants at this level.

Great service from both Bryan and Parisa. Great beers too. And most imporantly, they handled my daughter's allergies well.

We went to Nanea because we had a 300$ credit that could basically only be used on food either at the resturant or the store. I don’t remember what everyone got to eat but the only thing anyone would get again was the catch of the day. As far as the drinks go we all started with Maitais my son’s girlfriend did not like it so I had hers and mine, then I got a Tai Chi, and then drank the majority of her Lava Flow, but I didn’t feel anything. So need less to say I don’t think there was much if any alcohol in their drinks. The service was pretty good but base on the taste of the food & drinks & lack of alcohol in the drinks & the price I gave it two stars. We would not of gone there without the credit. It was about 260$ for four meals & six cocktails & one beer. If the food & drinks were good it might be worth it but they were not good.

Service was great. The actual people that work at this hotel are spectacular. The problem is the idiots at corporate who made the decision to have no breakfast options. I'm paying 1k a night with no food options. Insanity. One restaurant in the entire complex. No breakfast. This is a 4 star hotel.

Go to 1 hotel down the street, 5 star. 300 more a night. 30 percent. And they got it all. People aren't trying to save money in Hawaii. They're trying to have a vacation. Allow them to do so.

The best part is they want you to buy time shares. This place is a classic story of a company thst lost its roots. It used to have an awesome buffet in the am. And I hate buffets. They have zero options. This is a state that goes to bed earky and wakes up early.

Never again. The Hawaiian peoole can't be nicer. It's the Corp idiots that ruined this place.

Food was good but not as beautiful as the atmosphere and surroundings

Of all the Westin/Vistana family of resorts, this one is the most challenging to rate. They only have one restaurant and were under-staffed while we were there. The Avocado Toast gets five-stars from us. The burger was good, French fries okay, and breakfast potatoes underwhelming. The drinks were generally good. The LIVE music we experienced was actually great. The Crab Boil was honestly the best we've had.

Live music, sunset view, nice waiter named Brian, great service. Drinks were food. We had mai tai and dragonfruit cider. With fish tacos. I recommend and will be back.

Whoa! If you've never had a duroc pork chop.... it is amazing! So we have eaten here 3 times during our stay and it has been wonderful every time. The beef thai wraps, Mahi Mahi fish and chips, and the kulu pork quesadilla are all great too! It's clean and the service was pretty good. Don't miss that pork chop plate, unbelievable!

Great dining experience. My wife's fish tacos, the cocktails, and my burger were all great! Servers were friendly and had nice suggestions while we were in North Kauai.

Staying at the resort and ordered take out from Nanea’s. Paid $52 for two orders of burgers and fries. The burger was cooked medium rare and leaking so much juice that the bottom bun was soaked to the point of disintegration. The lettuce was just green slime. The grilled pineapple would have been good if the core had been taken out. Bit into the hard core which ended up pulling the whole slice out of the burger. Most fries were too soggy so we didn’t eat them. Very disappointed.

Had such a good time at Nanea that we made another trek up North just to go again!! The (virgin) passion fruit Daiquiri was our best drink of the whole trip!! The hawaiian plate was excellent! The fish and chips (or onion rings) were very good! Fish tacos and fish sandwich were also good, although the Cole slaw was very wet! Chocolate creme brulee was good. Love the koi fish pond setting!
