Meets hotel restaurant standards. Not great food by any measure, won’t win any contests, well prepared. Overpriced.

I don't know about the other reviews. The Coconut Curry had the right amount of heat and coconut. The ribeye steak was delicious! Everything we tried was excellent.

Have tried it 3 times. Twice it was top notch, once it was busy and extremely slow ( read hour twenty for salad and poke nacho) food was tasty all three times even when really really slow. Staff friendly. Expensive. Willing to work with dietary restrictions.Dietary restrictions: Staff willing to inquire in the kitchen if you have restrictions and kitchen was willing to follow through. Felt they cared about our needs.

$140 per person thanksgiving dinner, was about on par with a school cafeteria. Literally. Ice cream scoops of stuffing mush, etc. I have never experienced a bigger gap between pricing and quality. Servers were friendly.

For years we have attended the Thanksgiving dinner at the Princeville Nanea restaurant. Normally they have a local Hawaiian singer. This year there was no entertainment and prices were 50% higher. The service was adequate. The wine was a twist top Pinot Grigio that was almost undrinkable. The food was bland starting with a salad consisting of a little lettuce and yams. The turkey was bland and dry. The stuffing and potatoes were bland, The meal at best was a $50 meal they charged $145 per person. This was an obvious attempt to gouge the tourist who have limited choice on Thanksgiving in Princeville. For years the Nanea has been our go to restaurant. Unfortunately as a local resident we will not be back.

June 2023 2.5, decent I'd say. Gotta start the trip off with drinks so we went to the restaurant at the hotel for ideas. Service was intermittent, water refills and check ins low. If you needed something I discovered it is easier to go visit the bar over the time we were at the hotel. We had gotten a few different drinks between us as well as some sweet potato fries and roasted veggies side. I also got a side of the curry sauce to try things out. We got margaritas to start, then a 1954 mai tai and royal ube colada to end. The margaritas were a bit sweet but not too heavy handed. The 1954 mai tai was pretty good though it was heavy on the rum which wasn't necessarily bad. My partner got the royal ube colada which was a bit sweet to me but worked well for her. The veggies and fries were cooked well, though the veggies needed seasoning and the curry sauce forgettable.

Since west Maui was devastated with fire in August, my wife and I decided to come to Kauai instead. We have not been back since 2015 and you know, this place is really a great place to visit. Nanea restaurant is the only restaurant at the Westin Princeville Resort Villas. AS a result, their menu is very limited but very well serviced. The food here was amazingly fresh and delicious. The service was prompt and our server had us laughing and smiling with his smart comments about living in Kauai with limited financial means! Their menu selection is quite limited but what they served was beyond delicious! Their fish or seafood options were fresh and caught hours before cooked and served! Now, that's fresh! The restaurant is outdoors and dinner was awesome because the ambience was the gentle breezes from the Pacific called the trade winds, and they were blowing that night! The delicious food and the beautiful night sky was magical combination of island life! We might have to alter our vacation plans and include Kauai once again!

Inside the Westin resort so we didn't have high hopes but the Hulu burger I got was delicious. The meat was juicy and the pineapple complimented the saltiness well. Great PV Pina Colada. Our bartender Chris was kind, fast and gave good recommendations.

This place is expensive cafeteria food. The management is horrible. I was a server there. I witnessed the restaurant manager Jacob throw a piece of chicken on the ground and stomp on it then back on the grill because he was irate at a customer who complained about their food. They use frozen pre cooked chicken then reheat it. You have been warned!
