Hate to leave a negative review (something I have never done before) but the shaved ice and ice cream was bad. Nauseating and disappointing. The quality just seemed bad. Tasted like pure corn syrup.

It's under new ownership called North Shore shave ice. Still in same location next to Foodland in Princeville. I would consider it average after trying it. Better shave ice is in Hanalei...Wishing Well +JoJos

Least favorite of all of our shave ice experiences. Very, very sweet artificial flavor and way too much syrup. Nothing special about this place.
Sweet local shave ice and their flavors have sugar cane from kauai. Definitely recommend 🙂

The most horrible holiday food, tasted like cough syrup on shaved ice. Cough inducing shaved ice to be precise!

Wait time was ridiculous. If we had noticed the four other families waiting on their orders when we arrived at the window we may have walked away. I didn't count, but we were waiting at least 45 minutes probably more like an HOUR.
Ice cream inside shaved ice was very soft and melted quickly. Chunks of ice in our bowls. Medium size portion and they cost more than other places. Ice cream and condensed milk were an additional cost.

Great shave ice, great portion sizes, great flavors, and you can add ice cream too! The staff is also super friendly and helpful. They have picnic tables and shade which makes it nice to sit and relax. While, we were there they were paving the parking lot so it was very noisy and did not smell the greatest. However, this was not their fault that the atmosphere was not the most appealing.

The shaved ice was so delicious!! After having bad shaved ice the night before it was like night and day getting it here, tasted amazing! The shaved ice was soft and melty, perfect! 🤩
