Service:The young girl serving a continued crowd throughout the day was amazing. Any employer should be happy to know your shop is in good hands. Therefore, my review regarding staff is A+. She was professional, constantly pleasant and greeted everyone with a smile.Ambiance:There isn't anything special about the venue. It's in a high-traffic marketplace with no one to clean the tables filled with syrup from shave ice selections.Food:I had the pina colada fruit shave ice and it was good but not 'knock my socks off good.' There wasn't much fruit on the shave ice to make it cost $12 rather than an $8 no fruit. Waste of money in my opinion!

We loved this shave ice so much we made the 20 mile drive every day we were on Kauai! The coconut sorbet is made locally on the island and while it might seem expensive it’s 100% worth getting on the bottom of your creamy coconut shave ice.

Best shave ice on the north shore! We went to a couple other shaved ice places on the north side and this one was the best by far! They are willing to put extra syrup on too if you want it! We also asked for extra ice cap and boy did they deliver!!! We are so sad we didn’t find this place sooner during our stay on Kauai.
Unbelievable experience. The shave ice is the best I’ve ever had. And I am particular when it comes to shave ice! Great service!! And the snow cap is my favorite part!! Thanks for such an awesome treat.

We just spent a week in Kauai. Our favorite shaved ice stop of three or four was Sunrise. They simply had the best flavor on their shaved ice… it was so yummy and with a topper… it was everyone’s favorite stop. Chase was such a great server, what a positive attitude, he takes pride in his work and I would have thought he was the owner…Great to sit out front, enjoy the area and people watch as they enter the market. Great place to get some excellent shave ice and get some Hawaiian culture amongst the tourists in Princeville. Get ice cream on the bottom then whatever toppings you want! Delish!

We went on two occasions and had absolutely horrid service both times. The first time, the employee was very kind until she saw I didn't tip on my card (cash was in my pocket pending her service). She then became very rude and made us feel extremely uncomfortable. The next night a guy saw us come up to the stand and immediately sat down and got on his phone. Then he stood up, glanced at me and didn't say anything. I greeted him and said "hi how are you", he still didn't respond so I continued to order. He made a smoothie that was not even close to full and was warm. The rest of my party was going to order 6 other items but decided not too and took our business elsewhere. He did make a new smoothie after I requested he at least fill it to the top but for a $10 smoothie I expect a little effort and the small cup to be filled. Go anywhere else.
