The views here are really what you come (pay) for. The atmosphere is gorgeous, amazing views. Service is top notch, and the food is delicious but the menu when we went was small, and very expensive. We had a group of 4 and shared several small plates, glad we had a wonderful experience. I would go back for the view, but probably not the dining.
We came here for an anniversary meal and were disappointed. Mostly related to service issues. We have stayed at many 5 star properties across the world and are pretty easy to please. However, waiting 10 minutes to have our drink order taken and then another 15 minutes for the drinks to arrive (even the non-alc coca cola) on the hottest day of the year when there was maybe 5 other tables seemed a bit much. This is definitely a splurge event experience and not for everyone. The food was great, but limited small bites menu tending toward sushi, so if raw fish is not on your diet for whatever reason, don't plan on eating. The chicken was delicious, though. The drinks were excellent and my IPA was not the most expensive I have ever had, but close. We had a reserved table, were greeted promptly and seated outside with a great view of Hanalei Bay.
