I am a new resident to Hawaii and have enjoyed dining at Ning’s since my arrival. Having traveled to Thailand ?? on a few occasions, I know the authentic taste of Thai food - sour, salty, sweet and spicy. Ning’s captures these qualities and more with their Bohemian flair, blending in perfectly on the main strip in old town Pahoa. Try their amazing generous proportion of “som tum” / spicy green papaya salad. Follow it up with the spicy Thai sweet basil seafood stir fry… you will then have experienced a perfect duo that can best be experienced on the streets of Bangkok. The restaurant hours are 11am to 9pm MON thru SAT. Please note, SUN hours are 5pm to 9pm. ENJOY!

The Thai food was absolutely delicious, seasoned perfectly. The service was amazing - so attentive. We were a group of 5 and made reservations ahead of time and our table was ready as soon as we got there. No leftovers from anyone - we all gobbled our dinners down. The parking was very limited though - street parking.

Second time I have tried Thai & this place was excellent. Many choices to select from. I tried the daily special which was a pumpkin curry. Delicious! Unless you are lucky there is no parking right out front, but this place is worth a walk

Amazing Thai food with lots of options and different levels of spices. The service was super friendly. I had the papaya salad and pad see you. The food felt authentic. It’s in a quaint downtown street (no parking so you may have to walk a block or so to get there). I ate early so it was not crowded, but I think it does get crowded at standard dinner times.

Excellent menu. Service good. Very busy coming back from Covid with somewhat limited staff. Visited while going to see the Volcano. Restaurant seemed like a local favorite as well. Lots of smiling faces. Drinks served with a smile and generous portions. Try it, you’ll like it.

Really delicious take out food for our last night in Hawaii - very flavorful, and a good price. Just a word of warning - we got mild plus spice (2nd lowest) and still found it to be pretty spicy!

So happy we found this restaurant. Original Thai cuisine. They were more than able to fill our vegan needs. The spices and heat was perfect. Our server was able to answer or questions.

Fantastic Thai! We drove down from Hilo to eat at Ning’s Thai Cuisine. Our meals were excellent, service was fast, and our server had a great personality. We will be back!

My partner and I were looking for a place to eat and found this gem. The food was amazing and the service was great. It was pretty close to the restaurant's closing time. We were welcomed, offered suggestions for food, we were never rushed. It was an overall very lovely experience. Highly reccommend.
