FAVE place to eat (I only go to the food truck in Hilo). Plates/menu have stayed consistent and quality has always been there. Perfect mac salad every time! When you come to the East side of the Big Island then find one of their food trucks either by the mall or going towards Pahoa!! I've eaten at almost every restaurant in Hilo/Keaau/Pahoa /Volcano and I can say that very few places are consistently good and reasonably priced.Bite the Eye is a local favorite and hidden gem to tourists. It will be one of the most memorable meals you have in Hawaii.

Bite the Eye does the best poke nachos I've ever had! Fr their Hawaiian & furikake nachos are top tier.My boyfriend usually gets the blackened ahi & that's so nice too!We get from the food truck when they're at PKP - highly recommend!
