Was excited to try this place when i heard it was good but the food was disappointing the rice was was mushy and soggy didn't taste good at all tasted weird..that i didn't eat it. Poke bowl was mostly filled with rice and lau lau plate was ok. Kind of pricey for the food.

Bite the Eye does the best poke nachos I've ever had! Fr their Hawaiian & furikake nachos are top tier.My boyfriend usually gets the blackened ahi & that's so nice too!We get from the food truck when they're at PKP - highly recommend!

Just always good. Always. Love their blackened ahi. Especially when the salad option is available. The girls are always very nice. Either the roundabout location or the Hilo location. Doesn't matter. Worth it. Love it. Who needs a restaurant when you have a lunch truck!

My last 2 experience's were disappointing!! Overcooked Korean chicken, and Overcooked Oyster chicken. Long wait! Employees not stationed at window, and customers standing there in awkward silence, waiting to be acknowledged! And at least use a permanent marker to write what is what, OUTSIDE ON the containers, so groups know! Won't be coming back!

When you come to the East side of the Big Island then find one of their food trucks either by the mall or going towards Pahoa!! I've eaten at almost every restaurant in Hilo/Keaau/Pahoa /Volcano and I can say that very few places are consistently good and reasonably priced.Bite the Eye is a local favorite and hidden gem to tourists. It will be one of the most memorable meals you have in Hawaii.

Great service And the food is so Ono. You can't go wrong here. Poke bowls, Poke Bombs, Delicious Sushi and if you're lucky you get there on a day that they're selling fresh Ahi. They treat their Ahi and I'd imagine all of their ingredients the right way. The Ahi Slabs are always fresh and not the little tail pieces with so much Sinew that all you can do is scrape it with a spoon for spicy a spicy ahi mix. Nice Sashimi grade slabs. You won't go wrong here.

Outstanding! From ordering to the food, our experience was excellent! We had the blackened Ahi and it was so good, we’re dreaming of our next trip back to Hawaii. The poke and mac are also some of my favorite things I ate on this trip. I'd go so far to say the mac is the best I've had, ever. The chef and the lady taking the orders where both the nicest people and so knowledgeable. Nothing ordinary about this place.

WOW! This was such a great experience! I am shocked it doesn’t have more reviews! The food was outstanding and the service was top notch. Very kind and friendly! We’re hoping to make it back before we leave. We will be dreaming about their ahi when we return home. We highly recommend the 3 choice combo with the added poke! You get a little of everything. We shared and were quite full when we left. SERIOUSLY GO HERE!
