Eagle's Lighthouse Cafe is such a special spot! There's something really unique about it. The setting is beautiful and the outdoor seating is so charming and relaxing.
The coffee was great and I'm already excited about all the variety on the menu to explore on my next visit. I got the breakfast bowl and wow, the portion was super generous! I also couldn't stop eyeing their pastries. They looked amazing and I'm definitely trying one next time.
The cafe was busy the whole time I was there with a constant flow of people coming in and out, which just shows how popular it is. Can't wait to go back soon!

I had the vegetarian chili yesterday. The salt and spice balance was perfect, especially on a cold(ish), rainy day! My pick today was the artichoke and sun-dried tomato quiche and that was excellent, too! Everyone in my family loved the food. Water was $1/bottle which was unbeatable… I’ll definitely be back on my next visit to the. Volcanoes NP.

If you’ve never tried their hot pastrami sandwiches, they are the best!! Also, try the Portuguese sausage breakfast bowl. These ladies are great inside and out.

This place was such a wonderful hidden gem! I knew I wanted to try this place but they close at 2 so we were hurrying to make it. I called ahead and the lady was so helpful. Although some things ran out, what they had left was delicious! This was our first time trying lau lau, it was unique and tasty! The meatloaf was great also and so was the little dessert bread in a tin. This is a great place for some tasty local food, definitely try this place when you're in town!
