You want to eat here. Trust me. Convenient to the National park entrance, and easy to find. Two brand new picnic tables to sit and eat. The food was delicious and reasonably priced with good portions. After walking 9 miles in the park, these tacos were sooo welcome.
We enjoyed every bite.

We stopped here on our day trip from Hilo to Kona. We went on a Sunday when not many other restaurants were opened in volcano. We enjoyed our food and had tacos and burritos!

It was a cold and rainy day BUT they were open!
The birria tacos were amazing, the barbacoa tacos were awesome, the chicken tacos were good. If you're going to or from the park, just stop and get some. These are the best tacos I've had since I was down in Tucson, and the kind of tacos I long for but can't get in the Midwest.

The burrito tortilla comes out crispy baked. All other food was delicious too. There seemed to be about 4 outdoor tables and no separate bathroom.

Not Open despite saying they are
Some of the best tacos I’ve ever had and plenty of gluten-free options for those of us who are intolerant, however, same grill so probably not for my celiac friends.
We stopped here after visiting the Volcano National Park. Everyone we came with (9 people) agreed it was a great stop.
Food was quick and everything tasted amazing!

Best tacos we’ve EVER had! Hands down. Got 3 carne asada tacos each and my husband told me he might have to leave me for the taco truck.

Coming from California, these tacos were underwhelming. I thought they are just mediocre at best and kinda small. We tried carne asada and birria. I guess for the island standard they were okay or good tacos, but you should adjust your expectations if you also are from a place there Mexican food is extremely popular.

Food is sooo good! Unexpected find and 10/10 would recommend. Didn’t snap a photo become we were starving. Only downside was the wait time. Only one person cooking made the wait time around 45 min. But I didn’t take a star off because the food is that good!

The staff were super friendly and it was a little busy so their was a little bit of a wait. However after consuming the food it was well worth the wait.

We happened along this food truck waiting for the sun to set at Volcano National Park. The food was delicious! So much for for the price we paid.
Excellent lunch in between hikes at the park. I got the carnitas burrito and it did not disappoint.
