Volcano's Lava Rock Cafe

I enjoyed it. Good food and fairly diverse menu. Nestled in between a general store/gas station and a good shop, the Cafe provides a great lunch or dinner option for you while visiting the national park. Tell them Marc sent you! Just kidding, they have no idea who I am. Go anyway!

We had dinner there, the food was delicious. Both the ABC burger and the meat with Teriyaki sauce and the incredible cheesecake! Highly recommended ??

We ate here on a tour of the volcanoes. It was a 12 hour tour. The Cafe was expecting us. Our guide had called in our orders earlier in the afternoon. The atmosphere was slightly rustic and very friendly.

I’d go just to see the cool lava inspired floor again, but then there’s the food! Delicious pasta Alfredo, loco moco, and pumpkin crunch pie, oh my. Great service, too! Nice store adjoins it where you’ll find anything you need for wherever you are staying.

Made dinner reservations for 7 two hrs before dinner and they took us in and didn’t realize how packed it gets. The beef stroganoff was amazing. Service was quick. Will be dining here in the near future.

Great spot, super close to the park! Nothing fancy but exactly what we needed after a long day of hiking. Loco Moco and fish tacos hit the spot. The dessert of the day - coconut cake - was AMAZING!
