My sister has been living on Oahu for 13 years now and I can't believe out of all the times I've visited, I've never tried huli huli chicken from anywhere. Well, I finally got to try it on this trip. We came by on a Sunday at 11 and there was no line. We were doing our own North Shore food crawl, so we got half a chicken to share with everyone. The chicken was so tender and flavorful - even the white meat. Even my niece, who doesn't really eat chicken, liked it. It's also kind of fun watching them cook all the chicken.I'm so happy to have found this place and will definitely be back for my next visit to the island.

So happy there is a Wahiawa option! Often only get to get some of their onolicious chicken when we happen to be on the North Shore but now they are near by and so easy to access the best huli huli chicken on the island. The `Ohana who runs the truck are always willing to work with you no matter how busy they are. Something about how they interact with you makes you feel like a VIP. Local food by local people - nothing better. The chicken is juicy and the seasoning is the true "finger licking good." The sauce just elevates what is already an amazing dish. This could be a weekly thing now that they're easy to get to. On the side of the gas station parking lot on California Avenue - no reason not to give them a try if you haven't already.

The chicken is very good. Service is fast and friendly. It's outside, but with the Hawaiin weather the ambiance is always great.

Wow! Possibly the best broiled chicken ever. Seriously. I think my wife planned our trip to Hawaii just to go here. So delicious. If you want flavorful, juicy, tasty chicken with crispy skin you have to come here.FOOD: Chicken. They serve other stuff like char siu but really you are here for the chicken. And they often sell out so come early. It is just so delicious I can't give it a good description. Rice and pineapple slaw were okay but who cares when you have chicken this good!SERVICE: Good but not great on friendliness. Definitely helpful. Portion sizes though were greatCOST: Well worth it. A whole chicken for $15! Plate lunch for $13 which is half a chicken plus sides. I would order a whole chicken and just make your own rice.

Oh my gosh what a good decision it was to stop and grab a meal here. We ordered then walked over to the courtyard area by Matsumoto to listen to live music and enjoy our chicken. We ordered a full chicken with sides of coleslaw and rice. Starting with the sides. Rice is simple and I had zero complaints. I will say I'm not a huge coleslaw fan, but I could not get enough of this coleslaw. It had pineapple in it and it was so fresh and light. Now the chicken! I wish I could order chicken from here whenever I'm craving a rotisserie chicken. I think it was the best rotisserie chicken I've ever had. Juicy yet crispy and everything you'd want when it comes to flavor. I miss it and I will definitely go back when I'm in Oahu again.

I don’t know what to say except, this place is so, so good. It looks like someone cooking in a supermarket parking lot but it tastes like chicken from a nice restaurant. The flavor can’t be beat, and the portions are perfect, and the prices are great!

Long line so for curiosity’s sake, I went in line and ordered a whole chicken. Be patient because it takes time to cook. Seasoning is tasty but a bit salty for my taste but for a quick bite, it should suffice.

I have been craving huli huli chicken for some time now. Decided to stop by in Wahiawa to pick up two chicken plates for my son and I. Ramona was so helpful. I normally don't like coleslaw but the pineapple coleslaw, I love it! Sadly, the chicken was disappointing. All I tasted was salt. It was salty. I couldn't even taste the other spices they use or smell/taste the "kiawe'" that I have gotten so used to.i
