On 2 separate occasions when I went to the Wahiawa Zippy's I informed the cashier that there was a fly flying around inside the display case that housed the pastries. Both times the employee did little to nothing to remove the fly . . . Whether or not the was removed ALL the pastries should, W/O hesitation, be thrown out. But that was not the case . . . Both incidents the was NOT removed nor was the pastries thrown out . . . ? ? . . . If that's how they are w/the pastries, which is in plain site for EVERYONE to see, I don't want to imagine, but can't help but to think of how it is back in the kitchen where we, customers, cannot see what's taking place. I don't know about anyone else but, NOPE! I'm not taking the chance on ? hoping ?the cooks, & the entire kitchen staff, are conducting things the way EVERYONE wants to believe that they should . . . Not me! Zippy's isn't the same as it once was . . . ??? Quality of food & service ???They charge more, which I understand, but the quantity is significantly less . . . If the prices are increased due to inflation, it's expected. But how unethical to raise the prices but the quality & quantity is significantly less. Business of all aspects should not be doing this. It's like you're cheating YOUR customers. Which if it weren't for YOUR CUSTOMERS there would be no business to speak of.Wheelchair accessibility: Not wheelchair accessible

I had the Furikake Miso Salmon Katsu and it was delicious! My first time in Hawaii, my first time at Zippys; I wanted to be with the locals and eat what they eat, and I was told that this is the spot. I saw many items on the menu that I never heard of before, and found the two things that I really like, Katsu and Salmon. The Salmon was fresh and I know fresh fish when I bite into it. I eat salmon about every other week. Ive tried frozen salmon and Ive tried fresh salmon, and there's a huge difference between the two. I only like to eat fresh fish, and I know for a fact that my plate of Furikake Katsu was fresh. The staff and service was amazing and friendly. My entire family enjoyed the food and ambience, even my brother in law who is very picky enjoyed his food.

Here I am again today 8 months later to see if the service inside is better!! Omg it hasn't changed at all. We get seated after a while then a couple waiting after us doesn't get seated. The next couple after gets seated and what do you know the waitress takes their order before us. Meanwhile the other couple still never got seated. We decided to walk out. They should close this location down for good!!

The customer service was wonderful. We had an excellent server; however the food was just okay. We wanted to see what all of the hype was about, but it was literally food I could cook at home.

Decided to order dinner (1/12/24) from Zippy's online and pay. Everything went good there. Got a text saying my food was ready. Went to pick it up, my husband gives the name and worker walks away to the counter and checks the bags. Decided not to walk back or say anything. 15-20 minutes later she comes back to window and asks a customer if he's been helped. He tells her that this guy (my husband) has been waiting a while so help him first. She asks my husband for the name again and he tells her, then tells her that she was the one that helped him earlier and just walked away. She said, "oh yeah, i couldn't find it" then walks to the counter and looks in the same bag from 15-20 minutes ago and brings it back to him. Her name was Hailee. He brings the food home already pissed off... then got more pissed off when he realized that his plate was missing. I went back and got it and the girl that helped me also gave me an Orange Bang for waiting (I did appreciate that). BUT the other 3 plates and 2 chili cheese fries were cold and stale already, but the last plate I grabbed was freshly made, my husband actually enjoyed his Fire Cracker Karaage Chicken plate. Need to train your workers better. I've worked in the food industry and know what it's all about. But you just don't leave customers standing there wondering what's going on, that's what gets them upset.

Zippy's quality nowadays don't match the price. Most of their menu sucks now but I always hope to rely on certain items to not be bad. I regularly get Portuguese bean soup, but when my bf came home with it tonight, it was thick and chunky like slop or chili. Not the usual consistently you get from Zippy's or for this kind of soup in general. The taste was also not the same. I didn't get crackers which always came with it, and my boyfriend's firecracker karaage chicken looks like Korean chicken with sriracha aioli. Almost looked like a mini even though he got a regular and he said pretty much tastes like Korean chicken. He also asked for utensils but didn't get any. I wasn't going to let him go all the way back to replace it cause idk if it would've helped. Very disappointing.

Reliable food. Good portion. But if you dine in, They will charge you a fee titled "kitchen charge". Saw that on the receipt and was very confused.

My mom and I will usually order mobile order with curbside pick up on days we are filled with errands and heading to Wahiawa heights. Most times these guys are top notch! By the time I reach Wahiawa from Mililani it says they are ahead of schedule and my order is ready. Someone is running to the car. Today, the order said ahead of schedule but we are still waiting in the car 10 minutes after time said it was ready. I can see through the window from stall 4 and i see four people standing. No line in the take out side and no other stalls in mobile curbside with customers. Disappointed
