I had the Furikake Miso Salmon Katsu and it was delicious! My first time in Hawaii, my first time at Zippys; I wanted to be with the locals and eat what they eat, and I was told that this is the spot. Had a pleasant evening due to our server when we came in last Wednesday night. Too bad I didn't get her name. Zippy's isn't my go-to restaurant but I love how it's open til midnight. We were really hungry and after our meals, we were satisfied!! We have a friend who doesn't like going to this location because of their rice. And I told him, rice is rice. I WAS WRONG!! On 2 separate occasions when I went to the Wahiawa Zippy's I informed the cashier that there was a fly flying around inside the display case that housed the pastries.
