When I come to the North Shore with a rental car, I always stop by to buy Snow Puffy. You can enjoy the crispiness better if you eat it early rather than waiting for a while. They put it in a take-out package, but since it was covered in so much powdered sugar, it leaked out of the cracks and made things a bit messy in my shopping bag, so I recommend getting a separate plastic bag. In front of the store, there is a shared parking lot with the minimart next door. When you set it up on your smartphone or navigation system, you will be directed to enter the alley of a private house from the road and come out next to the store, but I think you can normally access the parking lot directly from the road.

Paalaa Kai Bakery is such a hidden jem and worth the drive up island. The Snow Puffys are insanely good with custard and flakey puff pastry, it is a excellent combo. After eating one you will find your self wanting more and more. This is a must try place!

This is a shop that was introduced on the Hawaiian TV program, ``Hawaii ni Koi te.'' This Snow Puffy was much bigger than I expected, and when I bit into it with my mouth wide open, the area around the mouth and nose turned completely white. It's exactly like Snow Puffy. Parking is also available, making it easy to visit.

We stopped by for the snowpuff pastry. It was amazing and worth the detour!
A friend of mine told me, Bro you gotta stop at this place, yes or yes not option, please wake up early a get some snow puffy. Waking up wasn't an issue because of the central time difference I was already awake. The bakery was about 14 min from where I was staying so I decided to give it a try and there. To my surprise, it was only 8 am and the place had a line outside already, it was a very small bakery. I got the normal glaze donut with chocolate, a malasada with cream, Long John, and the famous Snow Puffy. I couldn't wait to get home and try it since my friend hit the pace very high. When I got the first bit I couldn't believe how delicious it was that thing, this was by far the most delicious pastry I had on the island, those snow puffy were so good, I will give them a 10/10. I am glad I listened to my friend and stopped by, this place was so good.

I heard it was a great restaurant, so I gave it a try. When ordering, I bought some malasadas that many locals buy. The donuts were really fluffy and each one was crunchy. It wasn't as sweet as I thought and felt less greasy. The Pastry Apple was an ordinary pastry, but the apple jam inside was pleasantly delicious without being too sweet. Personally, I didn't like the custard jam-filled pastries that many locals bought. It was good because it was fresh bread at a reasonable price. I bought it and ate it while sitting on a bench near the beach.
