This place was a whole vibe. You have the beach right there, beautiful views, great service. Get the plantation tea! The food was good, nothing wrong with it but it was just not the phenomenal. Also, what's up with being out of the flourless chocolate cake?

We had difficulty understanding where to park. Apparently, only military personnel can park in the parking lot in front of the restaurant. We had to park to the left of the military entrance gate and then walk around the corner. We went early, so we got a parking place. The chicken katsu was okay. The vegetables were fresh. My husband had the ribeye which was pretty good. The view and ocean breeze made it worth the visit. You can hear the waves crashing! Our waitress was nice and served us fairly well.Parking: If you are not associated with the military, you have to park to the left before the military gate checkpoint in a narrow bumpy parking lot.

It took 10 minutes for us to be greeted by our server. Afterwards, it took an hour for our food to get to our table and we only saw our server a handful of times. When our food came out, the eggs were runny, the potatoes soaked in some sort of oil, the fried rice was mush, and the country fried steak was like cardboard.

Food and drinks were good and can get pricey. Local beer hits just right. Scene is perfect outdoor eating...I'll be backParking: Limited parking outside gate because of military recruitment center is located in the same area ...

Excellent views, good beer, and great calamari. My son had a Cuban and he loved it. We had a pulled pork dish with side of salad, which was a tiny salad. The pulled pork had no flavor and dry. I asked if there was any kind of sauce to go with it and they looked at me if I was crazy. They had good beer. It was a spectacular view. I would say the best thing about this is appetizers of beer.

Great view to watch the sunset. There was live entertainment on the evening we went which was nice.Food was nothing to write home about. Thought maybe the food would be of the same quality as the Beach House in Haleiwa but it doesn't even come close to the quality in Haleiwa. They are clearly not affiliated. Cocktails taste watered down.Come for a beer and the view only. Live music is a nice bonus when they have it.Parking is difficult.

The ambiance and view overlooking Pokai Bay are fantastic. Live music and good drinks make it worth the visit. I have not had the greatest service the last few times I was in. This could be due to staffing shortages or new personnel. I will try again and see if it remains the same. Prices seem to be climbing, and the portions are getting smaller. It is overpriced bar food, basically. The menu used to be much larger, and I think the Covid seemed to kill that. The food seems to vary depending on who is cooking. My overall review is to work on customer service and more consistency in the kitchen. I would love to continue the support of this restaurant. Give it a go and try it out, and hopefully, you have a great experience.UPDATE:I still think customer service needs improvement overall, and I have been back several times since my original post. Today, 4/17/2024, I stopped at around 1635 and went to the bar where I was going to have a drink or two and order a couple of entrées to take home. I sat at the bar for almost 15 minutes, and there were no bartenders or anyone around for that matter. There was one young server taking care of a few tables by herself, and that was it. I decided I waited long enough. There were three other people at the bar waiting for drinks as well. When I was leaving, I noticed the management must have called a staff meeting with the servers. Now, I used to be in the industry and would never hold a meeting during the shift, especially when the dinner crowd will be coming in. This should be conducted prior to or after shift. I am very disappointed in how management handled this, and I believe they need some additional training. For this, I am lowering to one star and hope this can be remedied as I do believe this is a great place to enjoy drinks and food with friends and family.

We drove up just for this restaurant because of the views. Totally worth the drive from Waikiki. The food was excellent, better than expected based on other reviews who said it was just ok. We really enjoyed it.
