My husband and I booked this trip as our “babymoon” for some alone time before we have our first baby. We decided to book a couples massage our first full day there. I booked a prenatal massage. At the end of my massage, the therapist laid down a hot towel on my legs that immediately burned. I pulled my legs back and said that it was too hot. She removed the towel but then attempted to lay it back down and rub it around when I repeated it was too hot. She left the room and said the massage was done. My legs were immediately red and burning. I went to the locker room to rinse them with cold water and try to find someone to speak with but there was no one around. Long story short, our trip turned into a week in bed, an ER trip, urgent care trips, 2nd degree burns, excruciating pain, ultrasounds for decreased fetal movement, dermatology and surgery appointments once getting home, and missed work due to inability to stand on my legs when we first returned home. During all of this, we were pretty much unable to find a manager to speak with. The Andaz said they would call their concierge doctor and cover the cost of that but are now refusing to pay. We are now stuck with thousands of dollars in medical bills and my legs are scarred. Not to mention the medications I had to take/use while in my third trimester. This hotel is nothing but a nightmare and their customer service is even worse.
Worst customer service ever. They say it is a 5 star hotel but honestly it is really terrible
Sitting in my room talking to my guests. No music, no TV. Just talking. Got a noise complaint. If you’re going to advertise a 5 star luxury resort and charge $1000 plus a night you’d better have some insulation between the rooms. This place is 3 stars at best.
The lattes here are the smoothest I have had here in the island. This place is my favorite. I highly recommend it.
This little market has anything you'd need when visiting the Andaz hotel. Great selection of wine and beer, drinks, nasic necessities, coffee and pastries, some Hawaiian shirts and even flip flops.
A cheaper option for breakfast / lunch if staying with Andaz
Stop by anytime. No really, anytime, they're open 24hrs.
