Great place to eat . Great food hostess was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and told us about whale season!

Lovely setting overlooking the ocean can't be beat. Pasta and steak were delicious. High resort prices. Lovely service.

We ordered the meatballs, burrata salad, the chicken and black truffle pasta. Everything was all delicious. Our server, Aunty Lori, was so kind and attentive. Friendly service, delicious food, and wonderful atmosphere.

My gf got the half chicken and it was cooked ok. I got the black truffle pasta with the crab meat and it wasn't fully deboned. I bit into the crab bone pretty hard and slightly chipped my tooth. I told the waitress. Although she was apologetic , it didn't seem geniune and nothing was comped.

We ate here twice in two days. First was for lunch and it was 10/10 amazing. Food, service, atmosphere all outstanding. We have been coming to Maui once or twice a year for the past 4 years and that was our first time at Olivine. A great way to start. We didn't have reservation one night, so we decided to try to get into Olivine. We were able to get a reservation, and we decided to go. This experience was not like the prior day. The food, spot on. It was delicious. This night the service and atmosphere were lacking. At one point my chair moved and someone's child had decided to use the back of it to climb onto the windowsill. There is a point when non-confrontation starts to ruin the experience of others. As for service, we had an app to share, it was great. They came to clear the plates, and took everything, to the point when the food was dropped, we had nothing to eat it with. The runner just dropped and ran, so we didn't even have time to ask for plates. We ordered a pasta to share, a side of sprouts, and pizza. We waited a few minutes, then I had to go track someone down to get plates. The bartender was very nice and brought us one promptly. We also noticed that we were not given any utensils to dish out the side and the pasta. I know tongs are usually given, as people all around us had them. When our server finally came by, we were able to ask him for some. We ate, he stopped by maybe once to check and fill our water. When we were done and couldn't eat anymore, we waited for him to stop by. I went as far as to stack all the plates, so he knew we were done. We waited 15 min from the time we weee done eating, to the time when we were asked about desert, with plates stacked for at least 10 of those minutes. It's a shame, because everything can be perfect, but if services lacking, it really creates a bad experience for the diner. There's a lot of restaurants to pick when visiting the area, so we are not sure we will come back, at least not for dinner. Pizza is A+

The scenery is beautiful with views towards the ocean. The ahi burger was just ok. Food in general is mediocre. But, the lovely setting makes up for it!

First, we loved the stuffed squash blossoms!!! Secondly, Karen, our server, was so kind and fun to talk with. Jesus, the manager (?), was engaging and took the time to acknowledge our anniversary. Thank you for making our anniversary dinner special.

We ate food from here twice during our 2 night stay at Grand Wailes. Once was sit down dinner and ordered from here while sitting near the adult pool. Both my husband and I agree all of our food was superb. We ordered: The Kona Prawn appetizer, the charred Broccolini, a Lobster pizza and a salad. Our waitress, Karen was attentive but not hovering. The view from the restaurant overlooked one of the pools which was already mostly emptied of people by 7pm. We would definitely come back and order the same items again.

Definitely would not recommend this restaurant. Although the staff is great and the ambiance is warm, the food and value is terrible. We ordered the burrata squash blossoms, the hamachi crudo, the bolognese and the $75 linguini vongole (which was $51 a year ago). The squash blossoms were basically tempura style with a batter so heavy that the blossom was lost. The appetizer can be boiled down to a burrata jalapeño popper doused in honey. The hamachi crudo was tasty but 5 slices of fish for $31. The bolognese was pretty straightforward, no complaints but nothing to write home about. But the vongole! Despite it being a decent sized portion the shrimp was not fresh and the tiny Manila clams were so filled with sand, I nearly chipped a tooth. The sauce was delicious, no argument there but for $75 I expected a lot more quality in the seafood. We took a chance but were sorely disappointed. Also bummed we weren't offered kama'aina even after our waitress asked us about visiting from another island. Definitely do not recommend.

Service was terrific. Hats off to Dom. The prawns were tough. I set them aside. Maybe over-cooked. Otherwise we enjoyed our meal.

Excellent food and excellent service. Marvelous view as well, though if you go before sunset, part of your table will be staring into the sun. Overall tremendous dining experience.

Beautiful restaurant good food, very difficult to find within the resort, not well lit walkways or sinage.
