A favorite of ours with special meaning bc they make you feel special. Please dine here. You will be so glad you did. Every morsel, every sip, every view is absolutely divine. Excellent wines by the glass. This is a perfect restaurant.
This is still our favorite place on Maui. The food is always perfect. The service is impeccable. The atmosphere is amazing. Can't think of a better place to take my wife on a date.
Wow. We've been visiting Maui for years and didn't know about this hidden gem. Intimate experience, incredible setting. Seeing a kitchen staff member trimming items in the garden for that evening's meals showed the freshness of the ingredients. Truly great food and excellent service. We will return and we will tell others that this is a must visit when on this part of the island. Didn't stay at the hotel but it looked like a phenomenal place for a romantic getaway. Didn't matter at all that we weren't near the beach!
Lovely views and romantic as well. Food was seriously good. Totally enjoyed the experience. With the pricing being elevated Wine parings would have been welcome.
Best restaurant on Maui. Spectacular sunset view. Amazing food. Impeccable service. Daniel is the best.
The food was not all worth $150. Service was slow even though multiple people were assisting in our section.
My favorite breakfast place on Maui. Relaxing environment and great meal especially baked items. Wish I can come here every month!
The scallop was one of the best preparations I've ever had. Just perfect. The Kanpachi crudo was good but a little underwhelming and not as complex as it could've been and the Kanpachi entree was slightly overcooked and therefore a disappointment. It's a fantastic restaurant with great service but I think we might've caught them on an off night.
I'm a local resident and have enjoyed many great times there. However my last experience was beyond unacceptable. We were a party of 7 and hosting some friends from out of town. They did not respond to our reservation request and said the dining area was all booked, however it was over half empty when we arrived and stayed empty for an hour and a half until we left. The seated us in the "lounge" area which is 6ft from the main dining floor. The server informed us that we would not be able to order food. I was polite to her and asked nicely and spoke with the manager as well. Both refused to let us order food because of "policy" Furthermore I am in a wheelchair and they do not have handicap access to the dining area. I was in a state of disbelief with how rude and smug they were. Especially when we are spending at least $20 a cocktail. Never going back, I have better parrots at home.

Although it is quite beautiful, do not come here if you are celebrating anything. The food was absolutely below expectations. I did not enjoy any of it. My husband liked the beef tartar but when my 65$ ribeye arrived it was about a ONE OZ steak and both sides were burnt. The drinks were good but nothing special. Definitely a tourist trap, because the views are special but you will leave this place still hungry after spending $300. Not worth it try someplace else.

It took an hour and 40 min for our mains to come. We asked they be boxed up because no one acknowledged us or apologized. For $150 per person we were absolutely appalled, not a 5 star experience at all.
Our dinning experience was exceptional. We booked it last minute at the recommendation from a waitress in another restaurant. She suggested a drink at the on site bar called The Bird Cage before dinner. We are planning another visit next year. Love every aspect of it. Ann was our fantastic server. Thank you for a great birthday celebration.
The Restaurant at Hotel Wailea is one of the best on Maui. It never ceases to amaze us how delicious everything tastes as well as the visual beauty of each dish. Our server Ian was beyond excellent. Thank you yet again for a wonderful dining experience! Be back next trip!
Stunning location with superb staff. Joined for breakfast and was easily the best we had in Maui.
Sadly, this was not good. And it's been getting consistently worse over the last few years, until it culminated into this most recent meal. Which makes me sad, because this was one of my favorite restaurants on Maui. We had the tortellini appetizer, which was very good. We also had the Hamachi appetizer, which was good, but tiny. Then, it went downhill from there. The lamb was a blob of fat (even for lamb) and the meat parts were basically raw and flavorless. (And I am known for liking my meat very rare). The fish was cooked about 3 times too long and dry and awful. We didn't really eat either, yet nobody even asked us why we didn't eat our meals. (The waitress was generally nice and competent, but we didn't see her very often, and the secondary wait staff didn't really ask). Desserts were so-so. Not great (we didn't finish them either), but they were OK. So, very disappointing for a meal that costs you $500+ for two people. Mai Tais are great there. The setting is awesome, especially at sunset. But for what this costs (even by Maui standards) it just doesn't deliver anymore. I really wish they went back to a regular a-la-carte menu with the old food options they had. The menu hasn't changed in a long time as far as I can tell, and there really aren't that many good options on there. The view is still outstanding and so is the vibe of the hotel. But with this getting worse and worse, and with the Bird Cage also having changed their menu, it has, unfortunately, taken a turn for the worse :-(
