While we didn't go to any other luaus for comparison, I can't imagine they get much better than this. The food was thoughtfully presented, perfectly portioned, delicious, filling and a beauty to behold. The drinks were refreshing and tasty. The show was a delight with a beautiful mix of singing and dancing with a masterful host guiding it. We really appreciated the included photos. Absolutely worth it to celebrate any special event.

Location at the Andaz was beautiful, but the seating arrangements made it difficult to watch the entire show.
The food was truthfully atrocious for over $300/person. The food was tough, dry and completely unappetizing. I understand you are mostly there to see the show, but at that price point my party shouldn’t leave hungry looking to purchase food elsewhere.
Service was understandably slow, but very sweet. They offered a lot of fun stations pre-show and even included free photos.
Overall, would not recommend. Not at all worth it for terrible food and an overly commercialized performance.

We had the most beautiful luau experience at the Andaz. It was pricier than other luaus but well worth it! The drinks were spectacular, and they had hand crafted mocktails for non drinkers. The food was multiple courses and served table side so there were no food lines, you could remain seated and enjoy the show. We had a group of 8 from grandparents, parents and children 11-17. Everyone had an incredible night and enjoyed the most amazing sunset as the backdrop for the show. Highly recommend!!!

This was an amazing Luau experience! The open bar has great drinks, and they start the night with optional temporary tattoos and professional photos. The view here was incredible during sunset and all of the performances were jaw dropping!

This was an incredible time shared with my wife of 40 years and my daughter and son-in-law celebrating their 3 year anniversary. The performances, the story telling, and the food were all exceptional.

We had a great time at the Mokapu Luau at the Andaz. The resort is beautiful and the grounds and beach made the perfect backdrop for the show. The story telling and the dancers were excellent. The food and drinks were also pretty good. Highly recommend.

We had splurged on this experience for Thanksgiving, and I had read reviews that this was the luau for foodies. But our food was terribly dry, salty, and bland. We were all disappointed!
What an experience! The storytelling of the culture, the performances, the food. I had an amazing time. The friends I came to Hawaii with didn’t want to go so I got a solo table without any issues. My server Ryan was amazing and gave some excellent pairing tips of the food. This definitely checked off a bucket list item in the best way possible!

Experience was fantastic except for the food. I expect a lot at Andaz and I feel they just provide too much food but at substandard quality. The fish, chicken, and short ribs were all overcooked and dry. I know it must be very difficult to portion out and serve as they do, but they should serve family style to table-sized families (charge for it if necessary). I would have preferred buffet style over what was served tonight. All the staff was great, the atmosphere was gorgeous, but the food was just so mid, it killed it for me and my partner. We had better poke from food land, and everything else felt like cafeteria food.
Kid-friendliness: Staff was amazing and got us warm milk for a child in our party even though it must have been a challenge. Super sweet people all around which is why the food quality is disappointing.

Our experience at The Feast at Mokapu was exceptional! From the warm "Aloha" greeting and shell necklaces to the impeccable service, everything was top-notch. We had classic seating for four, and our waiter/waitress was attentive and friendly.
The lu’au featured three rounds of delicious food: appetizers, the main course, and dessert. (I uploaded them in the photos below) In classic seating, you enjoy everything without needing to order – just choose your drinks.
Before the show, we got temporary tattoos and watched a paper-making demonstration. They also took professional photos and provided a QR code to view them online.
The show was phenomenal, and we learned about Lahaina's history, including its time as Hawai’i’s capital.This lu’au is truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
