This restaurant was down by the harbor with open air dining and great views. The menu was interesting and the wait staff was very friendly. The food was great and serving portions were large.

We went to this place on Nov 13, 2021 after arriving at our condo late in the afternoon. Were lucky enough to catch Happy Hour which has some menu food items and several sweet island and well drinks on the Happy Hour menu. We were also lucky enough to hear some local talent playing easy listening music until 8:00PM. Typically, 70's, 80's & some 90's music. We enjoyed it.Service was prompt and excellent. The calamari, my bell weather for the chef, was marginally over cooked and some pieces were chewy (the ones with the tentacles). So I was cautious about the dinner. Had the fish sandwich and soft shell fish taco's which came with a side (french fries in our case). Both were cooked perfectly with the fish sandwich a little bland.Went again on Nov 24, 2021 for Happy Hour, dinner and the live music. Received the same great service and had the soft shell fish taco and sliders. The buns on the sliders were soft and made from sweet bread. Delicious! Will return here again for a great atmosphere, music and food.

After a morning of touring, we stopped by for lunch. Sat on the patio, with wonderful views of the marina and beyond. Enjoyed the grilled chicken sandwich. The piece of chicken was cut into the shape of a fish. Very clever! Pineapple Cole slaw is to die for. Excellent service. Worth a stop when in the Maalaea area.

Loved this place a year ago, November 2020. So disappointed to see service and food quality had declined. Will try again, just to be fair.

I see lots of mixed reviews for this place, so management has some severe inconsistency issues to deal with. Ours was primarily on the wait staff the evening of 9/14/2021. Per the official website, they are open to 9pm. We arrived at 7:45pm, and were rudely told by the waiter the kitchen would only be open for 5 more minutes. He was the only waiter, and there were six tables occupied. He was running around between all the tables and if you weren't ready to give him your order quickly, he would excuse himself abruptly to attend to another table. One couple arrived shortly after we did, and ordered drinks. By the time he returned to them, it was too late to order food, so they left their untouched drinks, left enough cash to cover the cost, and walked out. We should have done this, but there were few other places open until 9pm. He told another table that they were closing at 8pm. When we ordered earlier, I asked if I could substitute onion rings instead of fries with a pulled pork sandwich. His retort was that they were out of pulled pork, and the onion rings were an appetizer. I changed my request to a chicken sandwich, and ordered the onion rings as an appetizer. Another member of our party ordered a full rack of ribs. Their menu says the BBQ is "outstanding" but that was not our experience. While the rack looked great, it was actually dry and tough as leather. It was quite difficult to eat.Coupled with the extremely rude service and generally sour attitude, we will not return, and will advise others to proceed with caution. There is nothing worse than an employee waiting on you who is just itching to get out of there ASAP. Except maybe the toughest ribs you can imagine. Save yourself, pick another restaurant.I rarely leave bad reviews, and this place may have some good moments, but one bad apple really can spoil your experience.

I had decent service, but I am compelled to write this review because my meal was atrocious. I can easily say that it is the worst meal I have ever been served at a restaurants. My lobster was as tough as leather and burnt on top. I was flabbergasted to be served a burnt lobster. I mean it was black! That is not a pretty site on a plate. I ordered my prime rib rare, knowing that it is impossible to be served a rare steak, from the way they have to prepare it. But my partners steak was far less done than mine. The chief did not even try. I will never go back after this place. I hope your visit works out. But do remember there are a lot of quality restaurants to choose from.

I’m sorry to report but this place is advertising as Maui’s best BBQ, unfortunately it was not. Brisket was over cooked and tough, pulled pork sandwich was dry, and ribs were so-so. Panko Onion rings are good but those probably came out of a frozen bag. On the plus side Service was really great! I’m willing to give it two stars to be kind but if you ask my family they’d have given it zero. Teenage boys ate because they’re hungry but both said their meals sucked. Maybe was just and off experience for us- But for the price I’d find somewhere else if your looking for BBQ.

My wife and I ate here for lunch. The service was prompt and attentive, staff was kind, helpful and suggestive. The spicy Mac and cheese is indeed spicy so if that's not your thing, stay away from it. The burger was large, juicy and cooked to medium well. One plate was enough, if you get appetizers you will be hard pressed to eat it all. The pulled pork has a very powerful smoke flavor but is juicy, and does great on a bun with bbq sauce. They do live music Monday through Saturday from 5 to 8. Prices are very reasonable compared to other restaurants, probably the cheapest we paid for lunch since being in Maui. 10/10, would come again!

Ribs & Lobster combo tasted like it was under heat lamp for 2 hrs?... both were tough & dry...was really excited for it too after long afternoon snorkeling... cornbread was fresh and great though

With a few tweaks could serve better food. The brisket was cut with the grain instead of across it; any decent BBQ would not make that mistake. The pineapple slaw was bland and devoid of any pineapple. The fish tacos were on flour tortillas and had very little fish and too much garnish. The Irish nachos were pretty good though. The atmosphere is nice and beer cold, so put a little more effort into the food and it could be a lot more than a tourist trap.

Came here because I was in the area perusing the local shops. I ordered a Brisket Sandwich and baked beans. Everything was ok. The Brisket Sandwich was a bit dry and the baked beans were ok but there was wayyy more sauce than beans. There servers were super nice. I might go back for a drink but I doubt I'd eat here again.

Amazing breakfast and bloody Mary's, the staff is upbeat and provides a great atmosphere for the customers, one of the best breakfasts I've had in a long time
