The butter roll was delicious - hot and fresh bun with golden melted butter and sugar melted into the layers. The malasada was pretty good too - light and airy.
Cash only. And carry away only.

These are my favorite kind of bakeries to stumble upon. The women working was so sweet and helpful, and the butter rolls were unlike anything I’ve had before, absolutely amazing. I’ll definitely be back the next time I’m in Maui!

They have the Best Butter Rolls, Cinnamon Rolls, Long Johns & Ensaymada. They also have other pasteries, drinks and filipino groceries. Highly recommend.

This was the best banana bread I’ve ever had! It was incredibly moist and flavorful. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, and everything about the experience was perfect. I’ll definitely be coming back!

I've never actually been to the store, but my uncle always brings to Big Island when he visits and I'm absolutely obsessed with the butter rolls. They keep so well during his travels and still taste straight from the bakery when he gets here.

Yummy butter rolls were sweet, sticky and warm! Malasadas were classic and yummy. Very small mom and pop bakery with traditional Hawaiian classics. 4 pastries was only $6… great deal

Snagged 4 dozen butter rolls on our way back to Alaska- they were for Thanksgiving, most went to the Anchorage/Matsu area but some traveled as far as Fairbanks.
Delicious, wish we had these available locally!!! Price is good, food is great! Service is awesome!
(It wasn’t our only dozen while visiting, we made 4 trips total here in a week)

Butter. And rolls. That's all ya need. The malasadas are delicious as well! Perfectly sugared and fluffy dough.
The butter rolls are a delicious guilty pleasure. Everything they make is fresh and warm. The bakery is cash only.
