I follow a Maui FB influencer that claimed SixtyTwo MarcKet Restaurant had the BEST Loco Moco in Maui. My husband and I got lost in the jungle, hiking earlier that day, and were several hours late arriving for our lunch reservation. (Open Table) I'm sure we looked like we survived a typhoon... our clothes/hair were drenched by rain, we had leaves and mud splatters on us. 🤣 They graciously set a table for us and my first experience eating the Loco Moco was phenomenal. It was so tasty and filling. This Restaurant offers 3 different variations of Loco Moco, and I selected the dish with White rice, ground beef patty, a rich/dark gravy with mushrooms (and possibly onions), topped with 2 over easy eggs. Sooooo darn good. If you're interested in trying Hawaiian comfort food, Loco Moco, in particular, I would consider eating here. Parking was very easy along the street and free the day we visited. There were a few homeless chilling out, but not bothering anyone.

Our family of four ate here and the food was delicious 😋 my kids had the bacon burger 🍔 and fries, a Mahi-Mahi plate, Kimchi omelette, and French toast. It was a 30 minute wait but our food took 45 minutes. Our server wasn’t very attentive. I do have to say the food was very tasty and fresh meats.

This is THE place if you’re in Wailuku and want good eats for bfast or lunch. Yvonne was my hostess for a takeout today and she was super attentive, polite, good 😊 vibes and presence about her. SixtyTwo is lucky to have her welcoming guests.

I got the shrimp corn salad and my wife got the taro burger. Both were delicious and fresh! Also the ahi avocado toast app was soooo good. No A/C but plenty of airflow. I would sit outside if you can!

Food is absolutely amazing, never fails to delight. We eat here at least twice on every trip to Maui and while the quality is consistent, the menu changes frequently so we always look forward to each trip. Today it was the short rib eggs Benedict, the kalua pork hash, and the mango crepes. The made-from-scratch iced tea was very refreshing with just a hint of sweetness.

This place would usually get a 5 star review from me. We've been going for a few years and it has been consistently excellent. But not today. This is a heads up for Mark, the Chef...if you've got a new cook, he needs to uplevel his game.
The benedict special has always been one of our go-to breakfasts. the cornbread, eggs, hollandaise and potatoes were all good, but the special protein was short ribs which were papery, dry and unseasoned. My partner usually asks for a side of spinach to balance all the starch and they were out of spinach by 11:30.
The hash is my go to, and while it's always a little small for me, it's been consistently delicious, And I usually get more than enough food by cleaning up after my wife with her abundant benedict dish. Today's pork, taro, sweet potato and cabbage hash was watery and also under-flavored.
I ordered a salad which was tasty but minimal for $19: A small bowl of greens, 4 pieces of shrimp, with a few (under)charred corn kernels.
Oh, and the orange juice tasted like it came from a can. For a place that's all about fresh and local, you'd be better off not having it on the menu if it tastes like that.
When you drop most of $100 for breakfast, this is the kind of disappointment you don't want to have from a favorite local restaurant.

Eggs Benedict on jalapeño cornbread! Loco Moco! These 2 specialties I rate best on Maui.
I’m a residence and we try to come at least once a month. Since they change the menu every 62 days, it keeps the locals happy too. But their 2 specialties, along with the great French Toast are always available. I refer a lot of visitors here.

We stopped here for breakfast before our flight back home. The food was delicious! I had the papaya bowl and the combination of flavors was delicious. The moco loco was so good as well. You definitely have to try it.
