I found my pork Lau Lau to be a bit too salty. But otherwise meat was good, and served hot

Finally got some fresh traditional Poi here. It was the only place where we could find it.We called ahead of time to check if they had it.I also had Saimin with fish cakes.I enjoyed both of these.I saw a lot of locals when we were at the restaurant. Also have to mention the staff was extremely. friendly.

Honest and friendly! Brah-delicious food! I love that the folks don’t just work there- they take pride in how they make and serve the food- they don’t accept tips. Stars of what we ordered- lau lau (broke da mout) shoyu chicken, deluxe cheese burger, kimchi, pohole, banana cream pie, sweet potato & haupia pie. The flat rice noodles with bacon (super tasty) and green onions was good, but for my liking it needed a little more seasoning and probably it’s a me thing. Likely, the noodles are ideal for locals/many people. When you come during the week, lots of locals come during their work lunch time to get food (good sign-eh?).Be patient and kind (as you should anyway :-) The first day we are here, the daughter and grandma with 6 month old grand baby on hip were efficiently serving up ono food.Enjoy!Vegetarian options: Pohole salad (local item), kimichi (best I’ve had, they sell out quick) and more.Kid-friendliness: Expansive grassy knoll picnic area great for running around and roosters running around.Parking: Gravel unmarked parking spaces.

Can't stop thinking about how good that lau lau was! The lu'au leaves were so flavorful. Lomi lomi salmon was good too. Haupia was a little firmer than we have it, but it was super yummy too! Mahalo for the great roadside service. <3
