I visited for the first time in February of 2023 and loved it. We didn't have an agenda other than to relax. Getting ready to make our second trip next month. Is it fancy? No, but the peace is worth more than gold. If you're looking for a peaceful and relaxing stay....wait, why am I telling you all about this place? I'm sure you can find a better place to suit your needs and desires. This probably isn't what you're looking for. I hear that the military resort in Korea is nice. You should check it out.

If you’re going to donate your services to an event at Bellows with the promise that they will provide you a letter that notes the date and time donated. Be for warned that they will not provide such letter. I contacted them multiple times about the letter as I donated more than $400 in service an it’s been 3 months and they continue to say they will write me the letter for my business. ( as I have to do my taxes and I donate a lot of time the military community being prior military and spouse stills SM). If you don’t need a letter then great but if your like me who needs proof then it’s basically a full lost.

Yes, we love Bellows. It has been our favorite place on earth since 1972 but why oh why did you cut down so many trees. What a loss! We were there in May and were so sad to see the state of ragged tree trunks everywhere and no shade in which to relax and picnic. Could this not be done gradually with new trees planted on a rotating basis?

It’s an older recreation facility so don’t expect it to compare with more expensive commercial hotels. The beach and other areas are limited to is card holders and their families so you don’t deal with big crowds. Shopette and gas pumps are there along with restrooms and an equipment rental (body boards, goggles, kayaks, etc) that’s far cheaper than off base. The cabins are old but the ac works great and the beds are comfortable. For half the price of downtown, it’s a serious bargain. We were so thankful to find it! And the staff is awesome! Be sure to bring wide brimmed hats to keep the sun off your head.

Open to the public Fri at noon until dark Sunday. Also on the weekends there is an epic farmer's market at the entrance. The beach itself was clean and beautiful with excellent waves for family friendly outings.

Fantastic beach for mil folks. Nice little stretch of dog friendly beach too. Water is always gorgeous bright turquoise here with islands in the background, very idyllic setting. The visitor center has $5 Dole Whips.

My favorite place in the world to visit. In my opinion these cabins sit on the best beaches in the world and are less than 50 feet to the water. They could use a little updating but who goes here to spend the day inside a cabin. The base has so many great amenities available as well.

Great are to camp overnight if you wish to. You do need to get a permit for the specific lot in advance but i Think it is worth it. The beach is right across from the camping site (1-2 minute walk). The showers have warm water, that is always a plus for must people. ONLY military member and their groups. The gate does check military ID and for those that are not military, they will need to show their state license/ID

We had a great time on the beach? The bath house was as clean as bath house gets. The beach, around the pavilion and bath house we're so clean and free of litter. And the ladies in the gift shop or so lovely to our children. We were so impressed with them and their pineapple soft serve!

Cabins have seen some use and show some wear. Could stand to use a little updating. A/C isn't necessary, but there are a few hot times of the day and year where it would be nice. But can't beat the \\\"right on the beach\\\" locations. Our first visit to MWR and the Souvenir Shop wasn't too impressive. The staff didn't seem very interested in taking care of us or answering our questions. The second visit was better as Tiffany was especially helpful and informative. Looking forward to our stay in January of '24.

$127 a night for a 2 bedroom cottage on the beach. 1 minute walk to the water. Spectacular views from patio. Rooms are furnished with a full kitchen and bbq grill. Secluded and private with excellent views. No AC but didn't need it. Ocean breezes blow through the windows all day and night.

I've loved this place I've been coming here for over 20 years for 20 years it's beautiful location. You can bring a dog and a husband on a leash and they have areas specifically for dogs some spots you're not allowed to have the dogs off leawfully.

We only went there for the beach. Since it's open to everyone on weekends. One of the best spots to ride your boogie board since the waves are strong. It is a beautiful place to camp and enjoy the beach with family and friends.

Aloha all; so this beach is for military active, retired only. You can get one of them to sponsor you for a party or to just use the beach. It's a great beach with great quiet beaches. They also have beach houses for rent that while older are still great being on the beach.

Dogs are now allowed in a specific stretch of bellows. I am a dog lover, so this is great. However no one follows the rules and there is no one enforcing anything. I was in a cabin on the opposite end of dog beach, and people had their dogs. There was a pit mastiff which is an aggressive breed, and I was sitting there with my two little kids on edge, hoping he didn't get loose. The lifeguard shack was right there and they definitely aren't in the business of enforcing the rules. I just want to come to the beach and not have to worry about people's dog management, especially with little kids and when I am paying for a cabin. Only a matter of time before someone gets bit.
