5 Stars – Delicious Local Comfort Food & A Hidden Gem That Was Worth the Turnaround!
After a long day at the beach, my family was starving and we were lucky to find L&L Hawaiian Barbecue just 10 minutes away. At first, it looked like it might be closed—but then I spotted the OPEN sign glowing, so I turned the car around—and I’m so glad I did!
The food was excellent, full of flavor, and the portions were generous enough to save some for later. We ordered the Seafood Combo and the Rib Combo (I think that’s what it was called), and both were spot-on. Total comfort food after a day in the sun!
The cashier/waitress was incredibly kind and welcoming, making sure we were well taken care of with that warm aloha spirit. It really made the experience even better.
They also serve Loco Moco and breakfast all day, which we’ll definitely be back to try next time.
If you’re in the area and craving some tasty, filling local-style eats, don’t pass this place up—it might just be the highlight of your meal plans!

New owners have taken over. Friendly, clean, but the flavor is a bit different. Hopefully it's a learning curve and they get their flavoring back on track. Gravy was different from the other L&L's. I hope the food taste gets back to how it used to be

Chicken Katsu get it and leave full! I like the macaroni salad BCS I like mayonnaise but it's my taste I guess. The wife gets the mini plate healthy chicken plenty for her this is convenient to the beach at Bellows AFS the kids that work there are great very considerate and in good spirits. L&L is our go to when on Maui Kauai Big Island or Oahu

Spent $246 on take out platters and the girl at the register was rude. Wouldn’t even give us 10 forks after spending that much money LOL.
The meals will certainly satisfy men from Central and Eastern Europe, absolutely not recommended by cardiologists on a permanent basis, but hearty and very filling.

Take out place, my favorite Teribeef sandwich deluxe with large French fries ...
Called in our lunch order which totaled approx $35. Upon arrival, I was told I couldn’t pay cash because they didn’t have change for a $100. Seriously! At almost 2:00, after the lunch rush, they couldn’t come up with $65 in change? Come on! To top it off the worker was so rude about it! Not apologetic at all. Complete waste of a good portion of our lunch hour. ?
