Wow - surprisingly great all around. Food was delicious, fresh and well prepared, the beers are MUCH better than at Kona or Ola, and the service was fast and friendly. Well worth the drive to Waimea.

Don't get the cheeseburger. Way over done, but completely tasteless. One of the worst burgers I've had at a restaurant. Not sure how the other food is. Also lots of the beer options are not available / out of stock.

Best brewery on the island! Love their Belgian style beers and porter beers. And some pretty good food as well. The cup or bowl of green chili has great flavor and some real kick. My wife loves the fish bites. The green chili cheeseburger and pastrami sandwich are also solid.

Had a delicious Chili Cheeseburger on a brioche bun with garlic fries. I think it was probably one of the best Cheeseburgers I’ve had in a while. I think they could have given me a little more fries for the $9.00 price the charge for the fries. Great service. Everything was served promptly and hot.

Not only is the green Chile stew amazing, it gluten free! Shout out to the team for telling me that the corn chips were made in a shared fryer and not celiac-safe. My friend loved her beer, burger and fries.

Friendly staff, good beer selection, good food! The Paniolo Pale and the Overboard IPA were my favorites. Had the fish burrito and it really hit the spot. Will be back!

Aug 2025 Edit: still our favorite small-town brewery in all of the US! Love the local bands (Pau Hana Pickers especially) that play on Friday nights. Sitting on the patio is the best place to enjoy the fresh Kohala mountain air. Keep those great beers flowing! ✌🏼

We are all about seafood when we travel to tropical locations but we were craving a hearty burger. What better place than in historical hawaiian cowboy country? Our burgers were SO GOOD. Wish we could go here all the time! Garlic fries were also tasty.
Only recommendation is nixing the barrel seating on the patio. Bit uncomfy.

Offers a handful of vegan options, lots of vegetarian options. Even the deserts are labeled vegetarian which gave me a chuckle; I'm not too familiar with meat-based deserts. 😅
Note that they use the European vegan symbol to identify vegetarian items, and fully spell out "vegan" for vegan items.
Ordered the farm fresh veggie on rye. It came with a pickle. The rye was tasty and the veggies were fresh tasting, no sogginess.
Lots of alcoholic beverages, being a brew house and all.
