The food was delicious, it arrived quickly, and the people working there were very kind, so I'm glad I ate there. I ordered udon and it had a nice texture and I thought it was the most delicious Japanese dish on the Big Island of Hawaii. If I ever come back from Maui, I'll definitely go there!

Really excellent food — I had gyudon, which was about as good as I’ve had anywhere. The egg was perfectly cooked; and the beef was tasty, thin and proportioned well. The rice was excellent—every grain was perfectly cooked. The prices were high, but the quality stood up to the scrutiny that necessitates.

When Tokyo Table first opened up a year ago their food was so good with the right price point. But when we recently ordered a Katsudon and Beef Bowl and it was $25 each! I can go to a sit down restaurant with a full service for that price. Chicken is also inexpensive compared to beef/pork, so I was shocked to see those prices. In Japan, the katsudon I purchased included miso soup/salad and it came outto only $8.00...I really enjoy the food here and service is great, but we can no longer afford it.

Chicken Katsu Curry came out with a beautiful presentation. Curry has great taste, tamago was perfectly placed and the katsu was cooked to perfection.

Been here many times, always excellent service and food. Don't be deterred by the food court setting; it is the best Japanese food around! Owners are so humble and polite, and will help you with a smile even as they're trying to close up at the end of their day. Went here most recently after a bad experience getting snobbed at Moa Kitchen (they refused to seat us without reservations even though the restaurant was half empty); Tokyo Table staff impressed us once again with their excellent customer service and quality food.

Food is very very good and authentic. The price, however is way too high - especially for food court service and ambiance. At a better price this could be a semi monthly staple. But at that price it’s likely once or twice a year.

This place blew my expectations. Let’s start with the most insane thing, their matcha soft serve. I would go to this place if I was a Kona/Waimea resident every single week just to have another taste at it. It is served with matcha powder and caramel. Absolutely delicious. Now onto the food, the Tan tan men was really yummy, not super spicy and very hearty. The shoyu ramen was very traditional, reminded me of Ippudo in Tokyo on the broth and taste profile. I struggle to find good takoyaki, this place has very very good takoyaki, I was pleasantly surprised. I read some of the reviews before going, have no idea why anyone would rate anything other than 5 stars to this place. Give it a try if you are in the area, you won’t regret it.Vegetarian options: Plenty of veggie options.Kid-friendliness: My kids loved it, shoyu ramen is a good option for the little ones.Parking: Mall parking is quite big.

Big Island Tokyo Table is a nice little shop in Parker Ranch Center. They have tasty drinks and meals that are easy to pick-up when you're on the go! They have a lot of options on their menu and will have something for you whether you want something warm, hearty, and filling, just a small snack, or even something sweet! The staff are friendly and I've enjoyed everything I've tried here so far. I find myself going back whenever I'm out and about in Waimea and trying to find something to eat. I recommend giving them a try if you're looking for something quick and yummy!

A another local boutique Owner recommended this place to us, and we decided to come check it out. Sadly, we were full at the time and have not walked off our lunch yet. Lol. We were able to order an iced Matcha tea and it was really good, but a little light in flavor. Lol. I was really excited to try their Ube smoothie, but it was pre-mixed with cow, milk, and since I'm lactose intolerant, I wouldn't be able to have it comfortably. Lol.The lady that helped us was incredibly friendly, sweet and nice, and she knew everything about the food and drinks. She was very apologetic about the cow milk and the smoothie being premixed. Hee. They also had a little Ready To Go take out counter area with some delicious looking items. I took a picture of that as I took a picture of the drink. I will have to go back for lunch and write update my review. Hee

They served with esteem generosity and humbleness. Went above and beyond to accomodate our vegeterian meal. Turned out to be a perfect halt for lunch. ?

Don't get the smoothie. All ice with little flavor. Perhaps the sushi is better. But not sure if I'll try it given the smoothie fail.

The thing this place does well is the to-go sushi and the sushi wraps (like spider roll in bean paper). The quality of the rice/fish is quite good for the price and is much better than what you'll get at the sushi counters in Foodland and KTA. I tried the ramen once and the broth was tasty but the rest (noodles, mostly) were like any packaged noodles. I wouldn't order that again but I'll be back for quick sushi on the go!
