Perfect location to grab a cup of joe and a small bite before heading up to Waimea Canyon.We picked up an iced coffee and an iced latte. It was nice to get a banana bread and a manapua before heading up the mountain as there are limited options after leaving Waimea.
Love this place!! One of the only places open for coffee early near small boat port. Even went back after our boat ride for a smoothie which was fantastic to take into Waimea to cool off. Great prices. Cash only. Friendly staff! Will definitely be back.

To be honest, I have been using the Java Hut as my backup to get a morning iced latte when the other coffee house in Waimea is not open (which is often and sometimes unpredictable.) HOWEVER, on this trip I have decided that the lattes at the Java Hut are actually better tasting, so I think I have switched my priorities. Give it a try.
