FORC Restaurant Reviews

FORC Restaurant is a popular spot among visitors to Hawai'i, known for its excellent food and cozy atmosphere. The menu features a variety of delicious dishes, including the whole fish, which can be pre-ordered to ensure availability. Guests often enjoy creative cocktails such as the ube lemondrop martini and jalapeño margarita. The signature sandwich, lemon-Parmesan-truffle fries, mussels with Portuguese sausage, and poke—considered one of the best—are highly recommended.
This bustling restaurant offers a lovely ambiance that strikes a balance between upscale and local, creating a welcoming vibe. The friendly service and great location make it a must-visit destination. Recent reviews highlight the seasonally changing menu with unique dishes that incorporate local produce and proteins, including the excellent Korean style beef spareribs and Portuguese chicken. Signature dishes like Rib Eye and New York are prepared in different ways, while the farm-to-table experience shines through with the whole fish and chicken hot pot, praised for their flavor and freshness.
The staff is consistently kind and pleasant, and the relaxed atmosphere, combined with delicious food like the miso butterfish and ribeye, ensures a memorable dining experience. Visitors especially enjoy the unique Mai Tai's made by the friendly bartender, which include muddled pineapple. The wine list is varied and reasonably priced for Hawaii, and the dessert of panna cotta with fresh strawberries is a nice end to the meal. FORC is a great choice for those seeking excellent food in a less pretentious setting, making it a new favorite restaurant for many.
