Our server Jessica made the evening very delightful. The location and view are spectacular. The mahi-mahi and the ahi were absolutely amazing. Walking down to the point to see the giant mantas after dark was the icing on the cake.

Best meal of our trip! Ahi tuna was soooo good! Wife had the ribeye which was very nice. Kale Salad was nice as well. Great setting with nice views. Great service. Definitely will return.

In brief, beautiful setting but incredibly expensive for overall mediocre quality food. We spent $350 for dinner for four, two of whom were kids under 10. We, grownups, each had one cocktail each, shared an appetizer and each had an entree. The ribeye was great but the daily catch our server recommended had the texture of microwaved fish and a weird chemical taste. Food on Hawai'i tends to be mediocre, even price adjusted recognizing it's a remote island, but if we were to return it would be eyes open we're paying for the ambience and not the food.

The clients were trashy and loud. We don't know why they gave us a table next to two loud tables while the place was half empty. Food good but overpriced. Clients on the trashy conservative side.

Amazing view overlooking the ocean while patio dining! Manta Rays viewable from the beach. Spectacular service by the wait staff. Food and drinks were very good would definitely recommend to anyone visiting the big island.

Nice experience with delicious food. It's a bit overpriced, but acceptable for a unique experience due to its location. Seeing the Manta Rays and snorkelers in the bay around sunset and after dark was worth the extra cost! We went twice in a week and saw Manta Rays one night. Our party had a variety of entrees that were all good. The chocolate soufflé was fabulous.

Absolutely fantastic experience with an emphasis on service. I'm so glad my husband and I were able to visit again after visiting a few years back prior to the renovation. We enjoyed all of the interactions we had with the staff team and felt so welcomed and comfortable. We enjoyed the night's special dinner appetizer as well as on-menu entree items, cocktails, and a refreshing sorbet dessert with local flavors. When my husband and I think of our “happy place” we envision the patio view overlooking the water from Manta. Thank you so much for the hospitality!

Beautiful locale. Interesting and delicious food. The hostess sat us at a table that was didn't provide views of the sunset. When we sat down our server moved us to a better table, which we very much appreciated.

This was the best restaurant while I visited Big Island. Somewhat pricy for portion size, however, flavors were amazing, very upscale, everyone enjoyed their food, so value was there.

And of course, great views at this restaurant, including the Manta Ray viewpoint.

Hostess was delightful. Server was fine. Food is mid. The menu seems a little uninspired, but my Crudo was yummy. The ambience and view are incredible! We were told the hotel is closing soon for remodel so that might've had something to do with it?

Manta is one of our favorite resort restaurants on the Big Island. Service was excellent. Bronson was our server. He was knowledgeable about the menu and recommended a fantastic cab to pair with our rack of lamb. 5 stars! The view is spectacular and the food is excellent. Definitely worth stopping by.

Food was very good, but value for money isn't there. Too high a price for rather small portions. The service was slow, and the waitress was ambivalent, which just let all the air out of the room. This Could have been a great experience, but I would have to rate it as just good.

Delicious meal with attentive service and idyllic sunset beach view. After dinner we walked down to a lookout where we watched giant manta rays swim up to the rocks. Way better than the overpriced snorkeling with manta ray tours!
